I don’t think it is an issue with your phone.
My problem started around the same time
I installed it onto a different device and still had crashing issues

What I think is that one of the background tasks for the game ( prob dragging in an video advert ) crashes the whole thing because of a bad file

I could be wrong but Rovio doesn’t seem to want to respond to this problem
