American politics are rarely dull.Had to laugh at Emperor Ming the other day after having ‘jokingly’ asked the Nobel Peace Prize winner to step aside and give it to him(I’m sure he’s just jealous Obama has one) he says “If Hamas don’t stop killing people we’ll have to go in and kill them”.All without a trace of irony.

Can’t imagine the same issue in America about identifying their leader. Having said that, Trump has repeatedly blamed Biden for doing presidential things when in fact he, Trump, was President at the time.

And only 2/3 of Americans can correctly identify which party has the majority in the House or Senate.

It’s all rather disturbing.

According to Pointless, only 70% of people could identify who was elected as Prime Minister in 2024, even when given the initials KS as a clue. However when shown some maracas, 88% were correct.

There is some kind of lesson here that the government needs to learn.
