I’ve actually ordered a book/audio that claims it will teach me to speak Welsh. And another that claims I will become a pianist.

The two things I seem to have no inherent aptitude for are languages and music. This is not going to end well.

Covid vaccination today. When I had one back in 2021 it totally knocked the stuffing out of me for a couple of days. Feeling OK so far apart from sore arm. And it’s my flinging arm. I didn’t like to mention it at the time.

Just watched the 2025 New Year firework display from Sydney, Australia. About as spectacular a display as I have ever seen. Then they showed the one from Auckland, New Zealand. It was like some kid waving a sparkler in comparison.

Twiggy and I completed our 2024 challenge of walking the length of the Appalachian Trail before year’s end. I did 2200 miles. She must have done well over 2500 miles. We had 2 days to spare.

She can have a day off.
