    You need to tell us where you have been Brian. Money was on you being in the MiL’s dungeons. Or blown into the North Sea still clutching a ladder. Or just stuck in that BP cubicle with the dodgy lock that OB keeps saying he means to fix.

    I do not have the power to delete your name from this forum @hunnybummy,there is one who does,a magic wand she has but has been mysteriously absent of late.Anyone know of her whereabouts?

    Thanks Dr Nit Scabs though I must confess the best two I nicked from the web(Donald and Melania Trump).That said I’ve got a couple of beauties for Desperate Dan (the perfect Countdown  combination of vowels and consonants).

    Dean Pederast and I can’t think why this next one jumped from the page:

    Another runt. Ham ’em High 12-4. But I can’t upload my proof.  Anyone else had that sort of problem recently? I don’t feel I want to pester birdleader again, poor chap.

    Brian N
    @briann

    Seems like the same problem I mentioned a few weeks ago is still around @desperate-dan.Not sure if anyone has made a puppy score recently seems like not so many doing the Challenge atm(maybe because the uploading issue?)

    Did have a go yesterday and noticed a couple of new names atop the leaderboard(3 to be exact :Cody and Lay and hats off to Fedora boy).Are they keeping you awake at night playing Classic Dan?

    Speaking of The Flintstones does anyone remember the furore when the LBTQETC brigade ‘ suddenly’ discovered the last line of the theme tune?

    Pretty sure the series reboot and the films were forced to ditch the line

    “We’ll have a gay old time”

    Think the term is a huge misnomer perhaps the word miserable might be more appropriate.

    My runt did in fact nick Cody and Lay’s trophy @brianN. They’ve got another – I’m on the case. All hand-crafted in rustic surroundings.

    Can’t have new upstarts on my parish.

    Actually it’s good to see some fresh (young?) blood. The more blood the better in fact. Blood is better than tumbleweed as my old nan used to never say.

    Bit quiet tonight was it something I said?Anyways laying off the MIL jokes for now so no references to dungeons or sabotaging the broomstick docking port or dredging up old Tommy Cooper quips.

    She came to stay New Year’s Eve and was meant to stay the night have dinner on the Wednesday then head home  but unfortunately the big old bird had a malfunction…at this point I should say I refer to the turkey taking way longer to defrost than anyone could know.So by the time we sat down to eat the bugger(again I refer to the turkey)it was 8.00 pm so she kindly invited herself to stay an extra night.

    What she or any of us couldn’t know is that when she got home on the Thursday she found her husband dead on the bathroom floor.Hope you don’t think I’m cold but as I’ve said before humour in the face of despair is pretty much my only coping mechanism.

    I know she feels pretty guilty about staying that extra night but by the looks of things she couldn’t have done anything even if she’d been there.He had one of those pendant alarms around his neck but never pressed it so it looks like he had a massive heart attack and was gone in a heartbeat.

    Funeral tomorrow so heading North in the morning.Normal service will be resumed.If I can do normal.

    ps after going AWOL I did backread the BP posts,please send me a copy of your book Dan,it sounds like a real Paige Turner.

    @briann

    Sorry Dan missed your posts there and yes judging by their profile pic Cody and girlfriend Lay(Layla?) are young.Good to have young pups chasing pups so don’t scare them off with your mean scoring machine.

    Hey @desperate-dan I’ll take a look this week.

    Desperate Dan
    @desperate-dan

    I’m very sorry to hear of your family’s loss @brian, in the manner that it happened. It might have been even more traumatic if he had also visited and ended up on your bathroom floor instead. I’m not saying there is a bright side here. One of my grandmothers died while visiting our house when I was a kid but my parents covered it up so well that I didn’t even know it had happened there until much later. Decades in fact. Only writing that down now does it seem rather odd.

    Brian N
    @briann

    Given that he broke the toilet bowl on the way down (he was a big lad) …

    Funnily enough one of my grandads died in the bathroom when he lived with us,bit difficult to keep that a secret .Don’t think it’s that odd @desperate-dan just parents trying to figure out how best to protect their children.
