If your first bird is Terrence, even if you filled the meter and got a Terrence that would be your 8th bird, he would go to the back of the deck. While it is possible, but unlikely you could get a Terrence as your 1st and 3rd bird used, it would mean you used Terrence then another Terrence was your 5th bird. But to get 2 Terrence as your 1st and 2nd bird should be impossible. When I was playing, not anymore, after I saw an opponent have 2 of the same birds in their starting lineup I started paying attention.

Not 1 single time in all the games I played after that did I ever get a bird in my 4th or 5th position that was in my original 3. And as many times as I saw it in my opponents first 3 it should have happened to me a few times but it NEVER did, so I call complete manipulation when I saw an opponent with that. It was just one of the many reasons I finally gave up.

Well, I did not quit last week like I said I was going to, probably not the first person to do that. I finished out the week, placing 6th, and my obsessive nature said, “One more week”. And i was gonna do it without coming here to complain about every issue. That lasted until today.

As for the last 2 weeks within 1 day I was already buried with little chance of advancing. The game was back to even wins getting me only 5-6 per win and my Arena opponents leaving me further behind every few hours, the usual bad birds, bad structures, Blue as video bird, etc.

So today, already frustrated, I got a level I have gotten dozens of times, no biggie, fling your bird into the flower set off the chain reaction. Usually Terrance works best but I didn’t have one, used Red, he didn’t fire. other birds were useless, didn’t get Terrence until about my 7th or 8th Bird, too late by then. So while I am watching my opponent rack up millions of points, I never made it out of Room 1.

I exited the game and uninstalled it, for real this time. I just started Final Fantasy III the other day, it will take my time now. I might still check in a few more times to see if anything improved but by this point that seems unlikely. I was connected through facebook so I could come back, but if I don’ within a week I will be over it, that is how I got away from all the other AB games that frustrated me after I got so far into them.

Okay, this is stupid. I just got Blue as my video bird for the last time, I just lost because of a micro pig for the last time. I just had a structure fall and completely miss the structure next to it for the last time.

I am deleting the app and moving on. I would like t say it has been fun, but really it hasn’t. Have fun, enjoy, I am out of here. Better things to do, like staring blankly at the wall.

Well my assessment after last week appears to be correct. I can no longer compete in he Arena. And I don’t play for a week for 5 gems.

And it is so random that I can’t recall the last time I saw my opponents last bird be Blue.

Also tired of my opponent having 2 of the same bird in their starting 3, or middle 3, the 2 points where it is possible but still shouldn’t happen, has never happened for me, I only get the same birds at the end, where is should happen. I have so many screen shots of the same bird phenom it is ridiculous.

How does Bomb land on a structure and only destroy the 2 surfaces he is touching without damaging anything else around him?

3 hours later, down by another 73 points. Forget mansions, forget fancy cars, I want “money to throw away on Angry Birds 2” type money, I would have to be filthy rich to spend real money on these games, they make their money from me through the ads I watch.

edit: Just lost another one from a double Blue ending. Had a micro under wood and stone, Blue of course couldn’t get him. watched my video, got Blue, still couldn’t get him.

I understand filling by meter with Blue and getting another Blue, but having Blue at the end and getting Blue as my video bird a vast majority of the time, not cool.

Is there some way I can sign up to be an opponent instead of a player? Because they never seem to have issues with weak birds, structures that block other structures, indestructible micro pigs, almost always seem to have the right bird for the job, rarely get Blue as their last bird.

I am tired of being an Arena player, I want to be an arena opponent.

I finally took over 5th place which I have been chasing for 2 days. I have it by ONE point, so I will be back in 6th or 7th when the 3 hours is up and I can play again.

edit: I was right, a few hours later and I am down from 5th place by over 80 points, so once again it will take at least 2-3 play times to catch up again, as long as they don’t play once.

Has anyone else noticed, that not only do the structures collapse with actually disintegrating or falling into other structures anymore, but even if you have the projected path of your bird lined up perfect to get over the debris many times they will still graze the top and be knocked off their path ruining your shot. Might be a stretch but are they even tweaking the projected path indicators now.

So 6 hours ago when I ran out of plays I was 13 points behind the player ahead of me. When I picked it up to play I was 13 points behind the player ahead of me. After playing 1 round I am now 67 points behind the player ahead of me. Frustrating crap like this is what really makes me wish I didn’t like the overall game and could just quit.

Wasn’t there talk awhile back of the micro pigs being made a bit less indestructible, I don’t think the pigs got the memo, I have even had the mid size pigs survive some direct hits lately.

Yep, and I keep getting the same 3-4 levels over and over, and they are the worse designed levels of the recently added levels. really getting frustrated with the lack of “randomness” of the game.

Are they running out of levels, I have gotten the same level 4 of the last 6 times, and while my opponent seems to be having no issues the damn structures are not collapsing with my weakling birds. 6 birds to clear room one while my opponent racks up over 2 million points.

Really, the same level back to back, get over 6 million and win streak 6 easily, streak 7, same level, birds stink so bad I can’t even get 2 million and lose because of the weak birds and a micro pig that took 4 birds to finally kill. Really losing all fun of this game.

Okay, it is obvious some people take this game A LOT more serious than I do, to me it is just a time waster, I have no master plan. I play when I can sometimes a few times a day, sometimes once or twice.

I have yet to get a demoted cheater in one of my Arenas, but until last week, except for when a player would come from nowhere, my Arenas have always been at least competitive, but now the last 2 weeks I am buried within the first few hours of the week.

I think that the latest levels were designed by blind baboons. Also I have noticed more and more materials being attached to each other. Wood and stone falling but never coming apart. So not only are the birds weaker but the structures are even more reinforced. It is getting ridiculous.

And I know I am not alone in this, but I am very tired of losing rounds because having to waste birds to kill micro pigs. I think micro pigs more than any of the issues with this game will finally drive me away.

This was almost comical, it was a circus level so the rocket was bouncing off of structures, trampolines, everything until it finally flew off the screen. I lost track of how many things it hit without triggering.

Pretty obvious the way this week is going just like last week my days of being competitive in the Arena are over, so so is my enjoyment. Stuck in 7th again and the top places already too far out of reach.

edit: Are you freaking kidding me, I just had a rocket bounce all over the screen and never did it trigger. How low can they go to rig this game.

Guess I will have to abdicate to the players willing and able to play every 3 hours or spend money. I am not willing to do either so I relinquish my throne. I will play out the week and if I get another lousy showing I will move on from the Arena, not worth all the crap they do to the game for 5 gems.

Just hours into the new week and the birds are still weak, opponents are getting double same birds, and the top scores are already getting unreachable, got a gravity generator level and the generators aren’t even collapsing the structures like they did before, too much rigging of the game for it to be enjoyable any more.

Well they wouldn’t even let me hold on to 10 gems, I was way ahead of 7th place but somehow in the last 3 hours someone managed to pass me knocking me into 7th and a whole 5 gems. @mad4paok if you are right I will quit the Arena, like I said, I don’t play enough to even compete with those kind of scores.

Definitely not gonna advance, can’t get into the Arena, I am getting “connection error” but I just watched a video for a chest so I know I have a connection.

I don’t know where the other player came from since no one was close a few hours ago, but I am now 6th from 5th 4 hours ago with no chance of advancing, so now I gotta play just to hold on to my measly 10 gems for the week.

Until this week I have never did worse than 3rd and even I wasn’t the winner, if someone had just over 500 stars they could win the week. All of a sudden this week I have 430 stars for 6th place and 1st place has 875 stars. If this becomes the new norm at my level I will play the regular game and try the daily challenges but I don’t play enough to compete with 800+ stars in the Arena. Especially when I lose so many rounds because my birds are useless against any material, even the ones they were designed to destroy.

I must have hit a new level of difficulty this week. The top 5 players in my league are so far ahead of me if I played every 3 hours until the end of the week I still would not make the top 3.

@jon3800 Upgrading is not a good idea in this game. I had level 8-9 birds and on the hard streaks, although still random according to Rovio, they would put me up against level 10-11 birds. I got 1 bird to level 10 and now those harder streaks opponents all of a sudden have level 13 birds.

And talk about weak birds, just slung Blue at ice, and he bounced off from a direct hit barely chipping it, and Rovio says the game is not rigged.

@jon3800 Okay, I missed that, but since the Sling makes it obvious you have upgraded it is a weak move, plus why leave some hats on and some off. Doesn’t make sense to me, but little about this game does.

@sambeaver I see that “bird from nowhere” a lot, I just assumed, and thought I read somewhere in the forums, that it was their video bird, meaning they either lost or were losing the round when that game was played.
