The 1% Club is stressful.
Twiggy and I were on the beach at Red Dwarf (a.k.a. Red Wharf) Bay this morning and were shocked to discover thousands (in fact I would confidently venture millions) of dead baby starfish. An astonishing sight. Also hundreds of pieces of what I believe is called Sea Pork which looks unnervingly like swollen pink human…[Read more]

On that theme, who can forget the immortal Peabo Bryson and Roberta Flack duet “Tonight I Sellotape my Glove to You”. Once heard, never unheard.

Spoiler
Some sources claim that they are both the result of things misheard – in Paddy MacAloon’s case “peppered sprout” from a Johnny Cash song and in Jack White’s case, Salvation Army. I think the second has more truth, but anyway, those origin stories are both out there.

143810/3 For the record, this may be the highest 3 bird score. First to central pit to destroy ice cubes – can get up to 48k. Second to left tower base, third to top structure. Plus a lot of luck.

The most well-known song about Bangor. However, it’s not about Bangor at all, more likely Rhyl about 20 miles along the coast. The lyrics just worked better with Bangor.

Llandudno pier seems to have bought it. Thankfully Bangor pier seems to have survived. I know quite a few people who run kiosks along it. It’s a wonderful place with sensational views of sea and mountains. Twiggy loves going there because she gets doggy ice-cream from the cafe at the end, which is open even on Christmas Day. However it was closed…[Read more]

Enjoying the Bazball. And Gus’s hattrick.
You know, almost everything I have written in the last few pages will be nonsense to almost everyone. Even to me.

I think Penarth may be more in the firing line than Bangor. I stocked up – bought a box of matches.

Re: Getting names wrong.
My father for many years addressed somebody at the church every Sunday as “Mr Bottoms”. Turned out that wasn’t actually his name but was too polite to point out the mistake.

I thought I’d just go through Seasons and 3 star each level without reading any walkthroughs. Just for the craic. Some levels are insanely hard to get 3 stars in, much worse than anything in ABo. Not a lot of craic, TBH.
