Icebreaker Hammerfest Level P3 Between The Lines -

Hammerfest Level P3, Between The Lines, is part of the “Par Side Quest“. To unlock this level, you must earn the “par” objective on at least 20 levels. Our strategy for this level is to take a long slice out of the right side of the block, causing it to fall rightward as a guard rail. Drop the thawed Viking into this gap, then the frozen one. Use as many slices as needed to get the treasure chest and Vikings into the boat. On the other hand, if you are limiting yourself to 4 cuts for par, try this: Repeat the long vertical slice, then release both Vikings with a single cut. Make a long cut from the bottom-left, being sure that the resulting block is small enough for our hammer happy friend to smash it. You have 1 more cut to use… wisely.

I could have sworn I commented here already but I guess not. On my iPhone (both the 4 and the 5S) I cannot see the full height of the ice block on the screen and the screen does not allow me to adjust with zooming. It also won’t allow me to slide up or down once I’ve started a cut (even using the two-finger screen moving technique suggested by the game. All this means I can’t use one cut on the full height of the block which in turn means I, and everyone on iPhone, is unable to score Par on this level. Is there another technique that anyone has discovered? Thank you!

If you make two parallel vertical cuts, making them as close to the Viking and treasure chest as possible, and then make two cuts horizontally dividing those middle sections into three equal pieces you will achieve par. If you have difficulty, make sure your lines are straight and that you are cutting close enough to the objects encased in the ice.

I got par by first cutting diagonally at the bottom so everything fell to the left. Then I cut of the top part so both vikings glided down to the right and then I just cut the ice so the vikings fell down in the boat.
