upgrading TF

I am at 143. Many of my TF’s are at level 7 or 8.

Is there any order that you should upgrade them. I am debating between Hal as Grey Slam Grimlock or Hal as ENERGON GRIMLOCK.
Which would be a better choice?

The Grey Slam Grimlock is weaker than the Energon Grimlock. You may call Grey Slam Grimlock is the weakest Grimlock of them all. So I think you should upgrade the Grey Slam Grimlock to avoid losing battles with him.

Is there any strategy with which TF to continuously upgrade and which ones to not?

Have you been accelerating your upgrades by using gems?

Every upgrade cycle I’ve tried to (gems and materials permitting) start an upgrade, finish it immediately with gems, and then start another upgrade that will run its regular time.

So if I were in your situation, I’d just upgrade the Magnifying Lens TF first, then finish it off right away, then go on and upgrade either a Lightbulb or a Bomb.

Also, depending on the length and difficulty of the mission, sometimes you can get away with substituting a high level Lightbulb type for one of your slots that you’d otherwise put a Magnifying Lens type.
