Update on PiggyBlast (energonicon #47)

Discovered by one of the members over at #ABTDP, the pigs that PiggyBlast fires, count towards the # of pigs killed. Assuming it has something to fire at, then
– level 1 = short, fires 2-3 pigs
– level 2 = fires 3-4 pigs
– level 3 = lasts longest, fires 4-6 pigs
If it fires at something far away, you won’t get as many. That is, only one pig “in the air” at any one time.

Wait, so this means this Energonicon only works when I have killed some pigs myself first? This is the worst Energonicon ever and it is Rarity 4! Also, I am assuming the pigs it fires is eventually deducted from the total pigs killed at the end of a node. At least that makes sense to me; it requires pigs as ammo.

@datguygamer Umm, that’s not it.

– You don’t have to already have killed any pigs.
– You charge it with Energon you collect by shooting ‘converted’ items in the environment. This is just like any of the energonicons. As usual there are 3 levels of charge.
– The pigs fired do not deduct from pigs killed. They ADD to # of pigs killed.

With PiggyBlast on the right node, some of our members have gotten 140 pigs, which after a doubling video gave 280!

Interesting… I used it ONCE, had a little giggle and then threw it on the heap of useless Energonicons — that is until I finish upgrading, then I will stop using Goldbrick exclusively and start trying some of the others.

@avip2u, Oh, I completely misunderstood your statement about using pigs. God darn it. I have unlocked Piggyblast. I will definitely use it from now on as my default Energonicon.

What are the best nodes to use this on?

@energonmitch, If I had to guess, the desert node is the best. At Least on my device, I get the maximum number of pigs from that area.

Thanks for letting us know. I never noticed. I used piggy blast a few times because it was cute but never since the novelty wore off. I feel up observant now. I just did a few nodes using piggy blast. Pig city has many energon structures too. Pig city and desert are both good options to use piggy blast.

Once you max out your bots and have tens of millions of coins, then working on your pig-kills might interest you. That and farming the lab daily.

Thank you and I hear ya VIP, but I have been doing that all along. We all know when, where and how many pigs are going to appear so even doing that has lost it’s luster to me….
