The problem with current Clan event start & end times

As we all know, the clan event start and end times were pushed back 5 hours a few weeks ago for seemingly no reason and this change needs to be undone.

As we saw yesterday, a new hat event was introduced with only 5 hours remaining in the CvC. Those lucky enough to even be awake during this time were able to increase their scores at the last minute and surpass players that did not play in this 5hr window. This is not fair since people live in different time zones and other simply aren’t checking the game constantly for new events. (even if they always start at the same time.)

Hat events and other events that power up FP should not be introduced 5 hours before the end of a CvC. There needs to be a 24 hour minimum so everyone has a chance to play. This used to be a non-issue before the start and end times were changed and as a result, are no longer in sync with FP power up events.

The only positive is that when the clan events end, there is a chance we might get a Feather Frenzy or Black Pearl Party in the last 5 hours before the clan rewards collection window  expires. Again, very few people will benefit from this small window anyway

spot on.  I could not agree more.  The new times completely screw north and South America time zones.  Meanwhile Russia cheaters get to wake up, load up a pile of +25 Hats, dramatically increase scores and change battle outcomes, while other clans are asleep.  It’s completely unfair.  Please file in game complaints regarding new battle start and end times, and starting hat everts with only hours left in the battle.

Our clan also preferred the old battle times, but are still crushing it. I wonder why rovio felt the need to change the times?
