Stars when completing levels

I’ve  gotten to 40/45 stars but now when I complete a level, it shows my new point score and the three stars above the score light up, but when it goes to the next screen the stars stay at 40/45.  What am I doing wrong?

Your doing nothing wrong. Today (my guess) the birds are under a hackers attack. Just close it up till tomorrow. Or the day after.

Things are all really weird today.

@newbie75 are you completing new levels or replaying a level you already completed?

It stopped working when I was completing new levels.  When I went back to some earlier levels, it worked for 6 or 7 levels then stopped working.  I’ve tried at various levels with no success.  I guess I should try at a level that I know for sure is a new level and see what happens.

When you replay a level, the stars don’t count towards your star rank. They will count towards the “get 25 stars” daily quest, though.

Only beating new levels or winning arena matches will add stars to your star rank counter.
