Reset Progress?

  • I had a problem where I made a lot of progress on one device only to have it not sync on my other device which then synched the first device back to its previous progress. I’m annoyed that it still isn’t syncing correctly. I want to start over completely and keep to one device. Is there any way to do this? In AB:Go, I could wipe the data, sign in my Rovio account, and tell it to set to device over cloud. Can anything be done like this in Epic? Bonus question: can the Google Play Games achievements be reset as well? Thanks, all!

    The guide gives you step-by-step instructions on how to backup and restore your scores, and also how to migrate to another device.

    Since Epic is a different format than the AB games, I wouldn’t know if .lua files are what you’re looking for. Hopefully someone has already backed up their progress, and can give you more pertinent instructions.

    I don’t know if this is the right place to put this, but i’m using angry birds epic on a kindle fire, and i was doing the watch a video for a free spin on the golden pig machine and angry birds epic quit. When i went back on the game i found that my entire progress had been wiped, restarting to the very beginning. I don’t know if you can help with this problem, but if you can please leave a response to this. Thanks.

    @tankenator1 Were you playing logged-in to a Rovio Account? If so, go to your camp and check — you might have been logged out during the crash.

    Somehow when it quit it made it so that my Rovio accounts progress on the game is at the very beginning.

    Exactly the same thing happened to me – twice.

    The first time, I’d reached level twelve, and just got the second key.
    Along came a video, and, crash, kicked me clean out of the game.
    (Yes, also on a Kindle Fire HD)
    I logged back in, and the game was back to the introductory video.
    I checked that I was still logged into my Rovio account (and Facebook) – I was.
    I logged out of both, restarted Kindle, restarted game – still right back at the start.
    I logged back into Rovio and Facebook – STILL right back at the start.

    Support were rather quiet, so, out of boredom, I started again.
    This time, I got to level 6, and along came a video… you guessed it. Crash!
    Now, I’m back to square one again, and I’m sitting here wondering how long it will take support to respond, and give me back my progress AND my purchases.

    So…

    I WAS logged into a Rovio account. It looks like when it reset, it updated my account to say that I was at the beginning of the game. I’ve also tried logging into the game on Bluestacks since them – it’s identical to my Kindle – right back at the start. The really strange thing is, when I logged into Bluestacks, it updated my Google Play achievements with everything I’d done – right up to the second key! Weird. And annoying.
