The EggBot makes his reappearance in this event, just as the implosive TNT-crates.
Why? I don’t know, but the EggBot only produces coins as it always has done when it gets hit.
I need points for Barricade or Nemesis Hot Rod. I always skip after the bad bots only to miss the good bots.
barricade rules!!!!!!!!!! don’t know if use it also in spark run… i like the EMP against flying pigs, but his firerate is quite low…
I just ignore the Eggbot. The only time I’ll shoot it is if there’s nothing else to shoot. But the majority of the time, I ignore it.deindiaan@deindiaan
<p style=”text-align: left;”>I’m playing with barricade, and with him it’s hard enough to shoot all the blocks and other stuff. Can’t shoot at the eggbot all time else I’m ending with low scores. But he does add some extra coins… Most runs give around 7k coins.</p>__^^__@wrioter
Argh, I did it again – if you don’t collect the tokens from the event there will not be any that show up in the spire of shockwave. Good grieftek@teknovice
sometimes if you shoot the eggbot long enough, it drops a crystal or diamond. anybody know what its for or does?
@teknovice This diamond or crystal (commonly known as a gem) is the most valuable currency in this game in contrast to coins. You can use it to buy all kind of things (accessories, speed up upgrades of bots and , open new areas, buy extra slots in the spark run, etc.)
Gems can also be obtained from the map where they sometimes appear, and also from missions, and theoretically from the shockwave’s tower (although in practice this will only cost you gems). Probably I’ve also forgot a few other ways.
If you’re quite desperate you can also buy them with real money, but I think this will take all of the fun out of the game.FortressMaximus@fortressmaximus
I’ve never seen an eggbot drop anything but coins. Interesting if this is a new thing.GrimLockdown@grimlockdown
Eggbots have always had this property of dropping a gem. And yes, it is the same gem although it looks a bit different. And you get to keep the gem even if your TF dies in the run (I “tested” this yesterday).
