@pandaczar12Nemesis is a fairly crappy BOT, don’t waste gems on him… and never waste gems on speeding up the upgrades.

@jimmy-necessary@pandaczar12 Why do you think Nemesis Prime is so crappy? I will admit that most of the bots in this game do start out as crappy, but get much more powerful and significantly less crappy when they reach upgrade level 8 (and beyond). My Nemesis Prime is at upgrade level 11, and his power levels are comparable to my upgrade level 12 Soundwave, unfortunately he has a smaller blast radius than Soundwave. Also, I have them both equipped with damage boosting accessories.
@optimuspig I have taken on the WMT’s, the Boss Pig, and Unicron Pig with mixed results. All are extremely difficult destroy/defeat. I’ve destroyed a few WMT’s, but most of the time they deactivate themselves before I can deliver the finishing blow, especially when they are too far away for me to avoid getting hit without dodging, and when there are too many obstacles in the way. I have successfully destroyed the Boss Pig at least once with Nemesis Prime, but I had to start shooting at the Boss Pig immediately, and still watch out for the killer missiles and the other obstacles. Against Unicron Pig, Nemesis Prime cannot quickly and effectively deal enough damage to Unicron Pig before the end of the run. Nemesis Prime needs an accessory that would allow for continuous, rapid fire shooting in order for him to have a better chance at defeating Unicron Pig.pandaczar12
@pandaczar12My nemesis is level 16, fully equipped with powered up accessories. He can’t kill WMT, his defense sucks, he throws blocks into the air which may not may not detroy them. Sound wave with acid rounds is far superior.

@mmotorsport@pandaczar12 I ended up not getting Nemesis, gonna hold off for another event. As for the gems I was thinking of using them for upgrades after using coins and materials not for the instant upgrades.
What do you do to upgrade after lvl 10 and the upgrades are over a day? Do you just wait it out?
pandaczar12
@pandaczar12There are plenty of other bots to use, just wait it out.

@jimmy-necessary@pandaczar12 Does your Nemesis Prime have acid rounds? Mine does, which may be a factor in his performance (my Soundwave also has acid rounds). Also, none of my bots have reached upgrade level 16 (which is one of the “overpowered” levels). I’m skeptical as to whether or not Transformers characters at that level (and higher) are truly overpowered. I have also noticed that there are inconsistencies with the overall performance with individual players. For example: one player may be getting multiple high scores on a run with their fully equipped, fully upgraded, and fully promoted bot; but another player who is using the same exact bot, also fully equipped (in the exact same way), fully upgraded, and fully promoted, gets terrible scores on the exact same run. Or, for those same players, one player gets multiple good runs, while the other player gets multiple bad runs.

@jimmy-necessary@mmotorsport All upgrades, after upgrade level 10, take more than 24 hours to complete unless you spend gems (or tokens, if you have enough, and you’re able to spend them on the bot you want to upgrade) on instant upgrades. Instant upgrades can also be earned through Gold Crates, but those crates are expensive, and the odds are not always in your favor. Your best bet is to choose when it will be of the most strategic value to you for you to do the slow upgrades to your bots.
