  • Hi everyone!
    I have been playing Angry Birds Epic for a few weeks now; however, I did not sign in with the Rovio Account. Basically I was playing the game as a “Guest”. I just got my new phone and I want to transfer the progress to the new phone. So I signed up for an Rovio Account, signed in, then the game made me start all over from scratch. Does this happen to anyone? And is there any fix to this because I don’t want to start all over again.

    Another way to solve your problem is to backup your phone and restore the backup to the new phone. If you are using an iPhone, then this process is really easy. Just load iTunes on your computer, connect your old phone and it will backup automatically. Later connect your new phone and you can choose to restore everything or selectively restore what you want. You won’t lose your contacts or anything this way.

    Logging OUT should restore your progress

    Logging OUT does restore your progress… but then you can never log in again. In the past, you could log in for the first time to an account and save your progress…

    Another important tip (I’ve learned the hard way)… remember to LOG OUT every time you finish playing on one device, otherwise if you start playing from another device all of your purchases, up level, mastery and snoutlings – in short ALL YOUR PROGRESS will be LOST!

    I wish Rovio can somehow fix this problem. I know that logging out will restore my process but I don’t know why I can’t keep the same process when I actually sign up for a new account. Isn’t it better to be able to keep the process you made on the phone then just transfer it online by signing a new account for the FIRST time?

    This sounds like a big bug in the game. I suggest you report this to Rovio because this is not how it is suppose to work.

    Be as detailed as possible and include that it is a new Rovio account and how you created it (from the game or from their site).
