Legendary Chest Mishap…

  • I had the chest screen open and was waiting for the free chest timer to countdown when my phone slipped and I unfortunately pressed the legendary chest and it just took 900 gems from the 1000 I just won today for winning the arena tournament. No confirmation screen or second screen to approve the purchase. :( It should be criminal.

I know they will not give my gems back even though I have never bought a 900 gem legendary chest all the time I have been playing. I read a comment by someone who wrote them and they basically said they couldn’t return the gems because there is no way to know if it was a legitimate purchase or buyer’s remorse.

To add insult to injury, I picked the lowest amount of feathers for hal, 7000, and missed out on two 850 BP cards and two 12,500 cards for blue and another bird.

I was going to use those gems to try and get more hats but now, it probably won’t happen. So bummed. You feel so cheated. :(

I feel for you. Been there, done the accidental, unintended buying couple of times earlier and once even with tapping exactly the “new” X-close-window button. I hate that there is no confirmation button, too!

Same here. A confirmation would be nice but not in Rovio’s interest I suspect. It’s happened to me 3-4 times, usually out of carelessness where the phone was rotated and I was just hitting the left card out of habit.

I’ve done it before as well.

And I’ve come to the conclusion that we will always get the lowest value chest when selecting the card. They want us to pay 900 more gems, which except for those who pay thousands of dollars to Rovio on a regular basis, we’re not going to spend 4,500 gems every day to open all the chests.
