@briannWhenever my kids had tippy tantrums I used to compliment them on their dancing skills,”Show me that amazing dance again.”Which they inevitably did so I would immitate it and my daughter would usually end up laughing at her mad dad jumping up and down in the middle of a supermarket. My son would turn puce and combust.Different strokes etc.

@briannJust to say @atlas-zulay it’s not your great country that’s a joke it’s the rich powerful elite dismantling democracy before our eyes who are a joke.

@briannHey @hunnybunny is it too late to nominate England for the wooden spoon? And have you got any suggestions for hobbies a man in his early 20’s can get into.

@briannRemember ages ago I made a joke about Andrew appearing on Celebrity Manhunt? Not so funny now is it?
Brian N
@briannHey @catsnbirds did the skydiving involve a broomstick?
catsnbirds
@catsnbirdsNo @briann , I used my angel wings 🪽 to get to altitude.
Brian N
@briannKudos @catsnbirds I struggle getting on a plane never mind jumping out of one.
CodyRoyales
@atlas-zulayWere you a part of the 11th Airborne Div. in Alaska? @catsnbirds

@atlas-zulay@briann I do agree. I’m quite politically charged and have known of my country’s failing for some years now. Just a damn shame no one here cares to improve it. A vast majority of Americans will continue to feast on fast food and spend more and more money to the major companies that lobby for terrible economic situations for the average person but make them wealthier, tax loops, law changes. They will still vote in corrupt politicians because they do not care. We’ve been lost for decades

@atlas-zulayAh Big Island from what I’ve heard is quite nice. I have only visited Oahu

@ixan57Back in the day the future was seen, @Brian N refusing cleaning windows at 38000 feet and who does this sound like my American friends. https://youtu.be/9qsqLegE1zQ?si=18y9IpoRJfYTsTdx

@briannThink the Doc put in a protest score in the Challenge today. Can’t say I blame him given that optimum scores are achieved by baking the level in the oven for two days. Not ideal Daily Challenge material methinks.
Desperate Dan
@desperate-danI know that 10cc song very well @ixan57. But it does feel like the four of them were all writing different songs and it was all glued together. A lot of their songs were like that.
But yes, prescient, as they say.
catsnbirds
@catsnbirds@atlas-zulay No, I was not in the Airborne Division. Had friends that were very invested in skydiving. Good weather weekends spent at the drop zone; they competed in the Nationals in the summer (was generally in eastern Oklahoma at that time) and went to Zephyr Hills in Florida for Thanksgiving week each year for that competition. No, I didn’t compete. Only made 42 jumps over the years. But still enjoy remembering the adventures!

@briannRant imminent.
I can’t stand these old lags who constantly moan about VAR.Shearer was at it tonight re Burnley v Brentford. Every decision in that game involving VAR was correctly adminstered but all he could do was gripe about the fact that VAR though correct took too long.Well boohoo,VAR is here to stay so suck it up.
Nobody complains about the time taken to look at incidents forensically in rugby, sometimes going back many phases looking for a knock on or foul play and it can take 3 or 4 mins but surely having the right decision in the end is paramount?
Worst offender(s) Darren Fletcher and his cohort Ally McCoist.I have a game I play where I count how many minutes into a game it takes ‘Fletch’ to criticise VAR.Recently in an FA Cup game (which don’t use VAR)he said isn’t it great that we don’t have VAR ruining the flow of the game. Then he referenced the Villa v Newcastle game where three heinous decisions by the officials were missed(VAR would have corrected all three easily) and said “I’d take that any day”
Not if it was your team you absolute wanker.Shut up and move on.
Brian N
@briannHey @catsnbirds when are you going to tell us about your time as an operative in the Delta Force team?
Desperate Dan
@desperate-danWhat did Agent Orange get that FIFA award for, just remind me?

@atlas-zulayDan, regarding the side strat on 2-7 Classics, I cannot get it done. Not even close!
Brian N
@briannLooks like @atlas-zulay is trying a bit of bear poking today.
As for The Don’s award I think Gianni felt sorry for King Creosote when he so narrowly missed out on the Nobel Peace prize and gave it him for his amazing statesmanship.

@atlas-zulayAlways trying to provoke! Pushing Classics to it’s limit is my goal
#ClassicsOverABO

@briannSorry Dan I realise now you were being ironic.
Desperate Dan
@desperate-danMiss March. Auditioning for the Sound of Music remake. Snowdon to rear right. This was taken at the height of the incredibly dry late winter/early spring in 2025. Stuff was catching fire! One year on and the contrast could not be greater. Rain/wind today wiped out the St David’s Day celebrations.

Desperate Dan
@desperate-dan@atlas-zulay, you can do the low trajectory to the left hand side as well with Matilda, it’s just that because of the spade, you can’t get quite as far left. It’s not easy though, but if it works the rewards are potentially great.
