@catsnbirdsDan. You. Overreact!?!
Bird Leader
@birdleaderWant me to limit them to ABo and AB Seasons?
Desperate Dan
@desperate-danPersonally I’m quite happy to see anything except Star Wars. I was over-reacting. What do you other guys think?
HunnyBunny
@hunnybunnyPenarth won Pier oft the Year, did yours?
Poor old Wynne, apparently wanted to “split roast” Janette, no idea who with, guess him and Joanna will be taken off next week….
Desperate Dan
@desperate-dan@hunnybunny. Bangor pier won Pier of the Year in 2022. It was commended for having the best panoramic view of any pier in the UK. When Penarth won in 2024, Bangor was third. So, in truth, these two Welsh piers are the cream of the crop. Llandudno, which fancies itself, hasn’t won in 20 years and can’t even stand up in a storm. I am a Bangor pier season ticket holder and Twiggy loves her trips there, especially because she can get doggy ice-cream in the cafe at the end, even on Christmas Day which we have done for the last two years. If Wynne comes here, we will happily spit roast him.
Also…
Penarth 230m long, Bangor 460m long.

@briannSize isn’t everything. So which is better, Bangor pier or Penarth pier? There’s only one way to find out… “(((Go Compare!!!)))”
Poor Wynne guess he’s in the Wallace doghouse.
Yours sincerely

@briannAwaiting moderation.
See today’s challenge level is another one of those previously banned from the list. Meanguy has a top score 20k higher than anyone else. He wasn’t allowed a puppy yet his score stands?! “I put on my exploding platforms and everything went ‘BOOM!'”
No to challenges that only allow ABO and Seasons as there are some people who enjoy playing SW, Space etc and I’ve had puppies in all games in the past.
Anyways back to that nad freezing wind…
Desperate Dan
@desperate-danI think then @birdleader, we just leave the Challenge as it is and maintain a frisson of the unexpected. Other than that one of us ought to step up to the plate and manage it. If we are not prepared to do that, then we shouldn’t put more pressure on you to fine tune it.
Genuflects obsequiously. Is there a badge for that?
Desperate Dan
@desperate-danIt must be admitted @hunnybunny, that while Bangor pier has the superior length, Penarth has the superior girth. I feel a song coming on…
Bird Leader
@birdleaderAppreciate all the feedback! Leaving it as is for now works for me.
HunnyBunny
@hunnybunnyLove The Beautiful South, especially this one
Desperate Dan
@desperate-danYou are a very naughty person, @hunnybunny.
I wonder how often this was accidentally played on mainstream daytime radio.
Brian N
@briannStill enjoying myself in The Wayback Time Machine playing some old levels of AB Friends(not even The TARDIS has that facility) when the levels had substance and were not made with toilet paper and matchsticks. There’s even a bunch of levels in honour of Green Day, which reminds me…
HunnyBunny
@hunnybunnyTerry Wogan threatened to play it as is last song on Radio 2
Sadly, he didnt
HunnyBunny
@hunnybunnyAnother Beautiful song (in both ways)
Brian N
@briannThey certainly had a great line in bittersweet. Here’s my thruppence barpenceworth. https://youtu.be/2lGzJwksSv4?si=6K8Y-aqg5K_dqizO
Desperate Dan
@desperate-danApart from Lennon/McCartney, I would say Paul Heaton is a match for every other song-writer Britain has ever produced. There are just so many great songs, and with two different bands. And lyrically, he’s a far more interesting listen than most of the Beatles’ songs.
Brian N
@briannDefinitely more bitter than sweet with the kind of dry sarcasm you only really associate with British pop.
After bigging up Agency I’m tempted to backtrack a little.As good as the acting and storyline was they seem to have lifted it scene for scene from the French version which is a bit lazy so now I’m bigging up Le Bureau des Legendes.
Desperate Dan
@desperate-danArrgghhh, moderation again. X, Instagram etc may be heading one way but the Nest is bucking that trend.
Desperate Dan
@desperate-danWales 28-0 down at half time against France. Good job I’m not Welsh. Not this year at any rate.
HunnyBunny
@hunnybunnyDan, what did you post
My naughty song didn’t get “moderation”
Although Facebook has warned me twice, and asked me to take a survey, which was what I thought of three friends all of which have banned numerous times!
I wouldn’t be friends with them if I found them offensive
Desperate Dan
@desperate-danHow can I tell you @hunnybunny without getting moderated again? But in truth, I don’t know. It wasn’t about you.
Brian N
@briannModeration in all things my friends,except wine.
Awaiting moderation.
Brian N
@briannIf Dupont stays fit France will Grand Slam it.
