Golden Pig and Rare Bird

Got a notification I received a rare red bird, cannot find it anywhere.
Also got a banner that said defeat the Gold Pig for lots of gold coins. Cannot find this pig anywhere in the game.

Idk but it probably means a 5-star bird or one of the set birds. It won’t be marked as a ‘rare’ bird.
Golden Pigs may appear when you scout, but there just seems to be… more thieves in the level.

No – it has not appeared at all

The golden pig shows up sometimes in scout missions and usually just has a bunch of thieves in it :)

So far I got two Golden Pigs from scout missions. They have two scout pigs instead of one – that’s all.

I thought I had one but I can’t find it. Where would it be kept?

UPDATE: I figured this out. They appear as ninja/thieve pig with gold bags on their backs at the beginning of a scouting trip. I only have ~2-4 hits to KO it and take its bounty before it disappears.

@blisscoy That’s where you are wrong. Today I found a golden pig level with a golden pig in it. I couldn’t defeat it, though, because those piggies were ridiculously overpowered, and I couldn’t cut down its health in time. It works kind of like the thief, except it has WAY more health.

@kingpiggy087 Could you show a screen shot please? I’m dying to see it. I get a Gold Piggie only on Scouting trips as the Icon to click on to battle, but not a pig to actually KO.

I finally got one too, on a mirror image of that game board. Like @kingpiggy087 stated, They are hard to KO.

I’ve only seen the Golden Pig on the map 5 times, I think, and I’ve only seen the Golden Pig in the level twice, and each time, I could only take off about 15% of its health before it ran away. Rovio needs to cut back on that pig’s health a little, because this is ridiculous. Even if they only took it back a quarter, I’d be grateful.
