Getting High Scores

Is there a way to get high scores other than just being lucky with how the structure falls?
I’ve been at some Ragnahog levels on Seasons for a while and I either don’t get a new personal best, or I don’t get anywhere near the top scores. I’m using the best strategies.

Is there something I’m missing?

Also, are there videos of the top scores anywhere? Not saying they’re fake, just want to see if I’m doing anything wrong.

The points are awarded by the hits, not by impact. So destroying more materials will give better scores. Not using many birds is also recommended.

Not only luck but shooting the same shot over and over and over with the same strategies. It’s been a while since I’ve slung a bird but always satisfying when you find a strat that yields a new high score. Good luck!
