I was 60 ahead of 2nd place came back 10 minutes later 7 behind. What a joke!

I finished with 887 candies.

Also started a game with 30 seconds to go and it wasn’t counted.

It might not be rigged, actually.

In my game, I spent a bunch of gems to buy two full refreshes in the last 30 minutes, and got as many canes as I could to finish in first place. Three of the eight event levels I got at the end were lucky ones that had something like 18 canes each.

I ended up stealing first place from way behind right at the end. You probably had the misfortune of having a jerk like me in 2nd place in your leader board. Sorry.

I think the game isn’t so much rigged, as it is inconsistent.

In today’s runs I’ve varied between as few as four flying pigs in one run and as many as 32 in another.

This level of variability makes it impossible to accurately predict how you’re going to do and how others are going to do relative to you.

On Day 2 when we had the gift boxes, if anyone was lucky enough to hit the Forest node with the multiple stacked gift boxes (85 gifts boxes for the event!) more than three times probably won.

Yesterday, I had a low energy group who played early and then quit. Not today though, after each 4 hour segment, I find myself slipping in the standings.

I just wish they’d drop this ‘competition’ garbage outright. Just set a number, make it achievable and not luck-based, do it each day you get enough tokens to get the unlock, the end. I play a couple MMOs doing holiday events, and that an MMO requires less grind and chance than a silly phone game is ridiculous.
