Failed to connect at startup!

  • Literally self explanatory. I went through the account authorization and now cannot even load the game. Says “logging in” then failed to connect. No I’m not connected to Facebook.

    I had a similar problem yesterday, but it went so far as to say I wasn’t connected to the internet (which I was). Have you been able to connect since?
    In the past, I have been able to use the usual list of fixes:
    * Hard close all apps running in the background
    * Do a hard power off of your device
    * Restart your device
    * Restart Epic
    If you still have problems, try turning airplane mode on and off. A couple of times it seems that my iPad has gone into airplane mode by itself, and without indicating it.
    Also make sure that your internet is really working on the device you play Epic on. Sometimes my iPad won’t connect to the internet even though other devices will.

    Sometimes it helps the restart your modem and router when you’re have connection problems.
