Event Dome

AFter the update I saw an event dome which had one of my low level bird assigned.. I tried it and failed the event. I am wondering when will it show up again? I have not see this dome show up again lately?

It shows up once every few days ( 3 I think? ). All coins gotten in these levels are worth X5.

Not sure about the timing, but yeah it seems like once every 2-3 days or so.

I only get an event dome every other week or more and I play every day. I’m on a galaxy s4 android. Wish I got it every 2-3 days. That would be awesome.

I think I had a dome, or something similar where I was asked to drop 10 gems to activate and earn mega rewards…spent the gems, the game crashed, gems lost, and I don’t know what I missed out on. Lol.

Darn, that sucks. If you do it, you get lots of coins. More than you ever would running a regular level, even with the variant and video double bonuses in effect.

Unfortunately pretty much anything can cause a crash nowadays. Even something as simple as watching an ad, sigh.

Yeah, I think it’s once every 3 days.

I got my first Gold Dome last Wednesday night, then another one on Saturday, then another one today.

I just got my second dome and it has only been two days. Unfortunately, circumstances were completely different than the first time. That time I got 61,000 coins. This time, only 5,000.

I actually died on my most current run, which kinda sucked. It’s too bad we don’t get to choose which TF we use on these runs.

@optimuspig If you were able to people would always choose ultimate characters which would give more coins than Rovio wants.

Well you gotta clear the level to get the coins – I’d personally prefer to take Bludgeon.

Hm, it never occurred to me that it might require a high enough rank. Can anyone confirm or deny?

It doesn’t sound right that you need a high enough rank to play the levels. I was around 140 when they got added so I can’t confirm anything.

That quite makes sense. To make event domes give bigger profit, Rovio made them longer to make player score more coins. However, this also means the amount of firepower against you got increased too. It may depend still on the player’s rank. At what rank are you exactly now, @ghostface147?

Well to a certain extent, the length of a level is irrelevant, if the firepower of the opposing pigs and mortar towers is scaled down appropriately.

An “Easy” level for a L10 character would be objectively more difficult relative to an “Easy” level for a L1 character, but it should be of similar apparent difficulty to the player when it’s being run.

I was ranked 75 when I got the first event dome.. and now just 2nd one (3 days later) and level was at 86.
