doubling daily rewards

It might just be in my head, but I always seem to struggle to get a video to play on gem day. Never have an issue any other time. Anyone else experience this?

Today was my 15 gem day, I hit the doubler, and the gems instantly started to head to my total… then as they are halfway across the screen a video starts. After I’m subjected to the ad, I only collected 15 gems.

I some times get that ad bug after finishing regular levels too. I think it’s just random. It just hurts more to lose 15 gems because of it.
