I’m around 450 levels deep and I still get joke rewards. I feel like everything under 1000 feathers at this point is insult. If rewards are not getting higher than what’s the point?

The levels are incredibly repetitive in my opinion, so I don’t see any enjoyment in playing it anymore.

Not really. I do remember getting different amounts, some higher, but the last time they added new levels, the brown chests only had 40 feathers each.

There are also other reasons to play the map levels: you get stars to improve your star rank, the amount of pigs you pop can get you rewards in feats as well as the amount of boss pigs you beat, etc. It does kind of get repetitive though but it helps for practice.

I can’t find any good reson to play map levels. Star rank seems like useless stat, anyways.

You do get a rare chest every time you reach the next level. Not sure if SR effects anything else though.

But getting 3 stars is pretty bad. You can get like 7-9 easily in 1 arena match. Which is triple the amount.

Rewards from common chests get slightly better after you hit the 1k milestone. But in my opinion, you’re better off playing the arena or give the Tower a shot if you feel fancy enough.

As for the Star Rank, I honestly think that it’s just visual decoration to show off to other players how worryingly dedicated you are. There’s no need to chase for stars since they don’t affect your gameplay at all. Your primary objective in Angry Birds 2 is to gather as much feathers and hats you can so you can push it to the top of the leaderboards.

The only thing that system is good for is just for cheater busting, but even that has its days counted. Unless you’re one of those Star Rank 1 scoring hundreds of millions I’ve been seeing about lately in Bootcamp, after both the Clans and Clan Battle updates rolled out it got easier than ever to get rewards and boost the deck. And if you have an active clan willing to spend gems (and money) for the feathers and the clan chests, I’ll give it a year or two until low Star Rank levels with full Legendary decks become the norm.

I wish they would re-adopt the AB Classic system, where levels were all individual and unique, not just built by the game on the spot, this structure here, four waves, a scuba pig here, a purple laser pig here, a balloon here, apple, etc.

all of the rewards remain totally pitiful. i have spent thousands of real dollars on this game to get to level 1860 and my flock power is till 538. complete trash. the pig penalties are ridiculous and even n with multiple slingshot and bird upgrades, i usually only get 2-3 free birds per 7 stage level. its so rigged its not funny

@sb311 I am at level 846 and I find a lot of rare chests and sometimes great rewards in it. My favorite rewards are pearls, most of the time I get 75 or 150 from rare chests in map levels.

However I am playing Arena a lot and rewards there are even better.

Elder Wand- yeah, you do get rare chests in map levels that have some nice rewards, but I was talking about the brown chests between map levels that only have feather rewards. The last few I opened only had 40 feathers each which don’t really do much when i have to accumulate 50k feathers to level up.

Also, it does get more difficult to beat levels that have those rare chests unless you use gems because you consistently get levels with 5-7 rooms with multiple special pigs and pigs so high or far away that only one bird can hit them if you don”t have a chile spell.

@sb311 oh sorry I misunderstood you. From brown chests I get around 150-300 feathers. Rarely bit more.
