sheepybach@paul13So the Dead End Event is going to be for Thanksgiving then as my flying pigs when killed end up being 2 Turkey Legs. Not sure when it’s starting but I think Thanksgiving is the 24th November?

Rowdypup@rowdypup@paul13 correct. The event will probably run through the holiday as opposed to starting on it, much like the “Enter the Silverbird” running through Easter and the “Christmas Challenge” going through (you guesses it) Christmas. The last thing we need is everyone sitting down to a big feast and giving thanks to each other, only to be interrupted by Rovio ringing a giant bell saying “NEW EVENT ON ANGRY BIRDS TRANSFORMERS YA’LL!”!
sheepybach@paul13Very good and a well written reply my friend and yep I can picture people rushing their turkey/ham to play ATB, I don’t think so lol
MillForce2k@millforce2kNope. Not going to disrupt my holiday for another ridiculous event. I’ll just tap into my gem stash.
Deszaras@deszarasI was surprised there was now new event that popped up since they’ve been doing them nonstop.
The Dark Knight@elpapam@deszaras it was a good decision to give us a break until Dead End Event for the Thanksgiving day.
Rowdypup@rowdypup@paul13 This isn’t the first time a Rovio app has ‘crashed’ Thanksgiving. Last year, the Christmas 2015 update (for whatever reason) for AB Go! was released early on the big day- November 24th- but when I went to test out the update on my iPad, evidently the foundations of the update were not built correctly, so the app crashed (hence the apostrophes) about 99% of the time, and if it did load for that 1%, it would “show” me that my progress has been erased and (you guesses it), force me out of the app. It wasn’t until the Chinese New Year update of 2016 that the issue was resolved. The moral of my experience is: Don’t be tempted by Rovio’s Thanksgiving updates or else….
