Well, I’m amazed to find myself in second after completing Thurs evening / Fri morning objectives. I think all the leaders have also completed their set, so I might still be in 2nd this evening.
1st is at 55k (a real grinder)
2nd me at 36275
3rd at 35700
4 & 5 also 35K+
6 34K-
There is still 1 person who is not playing.

@mvnla2 I know you don’t want to, but you may need to grind a little to ensure you get through. An extra 500 points may be all you need.

Also consider changing when you complete objectives. You can leave the final battle of one objective until the last hour or so before the next set of objectives come up – so it appears you have dropped behind. If the others on your board are not attentive they may not notice. Do the same for the last objectives. Keep one objective up your sleeve to see if you can surprise them.

@kerrAvon — Well, I have to confess I did a little grinding both yesterday and today. I’m now at 38210. But Gaah! I’m now in 3rd place. I guess the guy who was in second yesterday didn’t like the change this morning, or is it possible he’s already on the next days objectives? Do the objectives change at the same time for everyone, or do they change depending on your time zone? Second went from 35.7K to 40.6 in a few hours.

@mvnla2 It sounds like you might be taking the arena a bit more seriously at the moment. It is getting to the pointy end of the week.

Maybe the player in no. 2 position did what i suggested you do and saved an objective from yesterday. Objectives should all change at the same time.

I’m still in second place. Think I can remain there unless someone cheats.[Edit] and I think one of the top 4 players is cheating. Looked at the data a little more closely and don’t think it was cheating. The person in first got off to a fast start, and then didn’t even play for several days, but did play yesterday when others nearly caught up.

Well I ground my way to first place a few times this week. Each time the cheater overtook me. Today he jumped 25k in two hours. I still retain a banner but I can’t make 25k in the three hours remaining.

What satisfaction do players get from cheating? I don’t understand it at all.

I have had one clean league – the first week. I thought I had a second one the week @dallasreds was part of it but since he was playing elsewhere even that was unclean.

Here’s my end of the week. I’ve only played the objectives and only a very few normal battles. No effort at all. Fought a bit extra a couple of times in the last half hour of the week, just not to end last within one-star range. Honestly, I lost my appetite for trying hard due to the multiple leagues…

@snarky, sorry for not checking in with our boards, I’ve had other stuff going on. Thanks for the warning today though. Any chance you have your version of our finishing board? I’m just curious whether they show the same scores.

After my 34th week in Platinum? I finished in 7th with 66K. I did a lot of grinding at the end because of the fierce battle for 7th. Why I don’t know. Call me crazy. Call me an addict. The 2 stars were so important. Not! I have completed my first set of objectives for this week and played a little more. I am in 1st right now. I seemed to get about 10 easy teams out of the first 15 and with restarting half of the time I got another essy one. I starting just playing the team unless they had two level 10 birds. So far so good. Good luck to everyone for the week.

I managed to end the week in second in stone and was promoted to silver. After some effort at finishing my objective, I was in 2nd or 3rd, but not much behind, so I played a few extra battles and am now in first. LOL!
I must say that the difficulty of the opponents is noticeably harder, and I seem to get fewer starts, but I haven’t really been keeping track.
In the end I don’t think anyone in my stone league was cheating, but it took a lot more effort than I wanted to spend to stay in the top 3. Don’t imagine I’ll be making it beyond silver.

I did major grinding Friday night and late Saturday night, and managed to stay in 3rd place to move up to Diamond. I think the person right below me didn’t play their last set of objectives, or I would have had a much harder time. I feel like I can finally relax–all I have to do is stay in Diamond this week, and finish out the season. I’ll post my final boards in the “multiple player” thread so people can see if the duplicate on my board finished with the same score.

@snarky, sorry posted my reply in the wrong thread. It looks okay indeed. I expected some discrepancies, but luckily it seems that syncing final scores is one thing Rovio did manage to do properly… :)

1st place diamond =) If you read back in prior post, if you play 1 game, immediately log off/close the game. Then don’t touch the game till Sunday, then soon as you log on, immediately collect your prize. 1st place=) If you wait, others will join your league and bump you down to 15th.

Yes I did the same thing as Paul and got 1st place each week for 3 weeks in a row, only sacrifice is just not doing golden pigs and free rolls for a whole week but definitely saves a lot of time.

I also joined the second day last week and ended up with 7 people having 0 scores. Maybe they had actual scores elsewhere as I can’t imagine those Level 41s willingly being bumped down to Platinum if all they had to do was 1 battle. So the multiple arena presence may be a cause.

My league this week seems to either be really competitive or full of cheaters. How is everyone else faring? I feel like they are cheating with objective resets but I have no way to prove it since I see the jumps only after I sleep.

@hack1ge The higher your league the more points you will get from wheel spins. This weekend I was in the Gold league and decided to do some grinding while I was watching TV to make the platinum league on the last day so I earned 14-16k in less than 4 hours. That score also includes points from the objectives. For some reason I kept getting easy opponents almost the entire time. I did’t use any essence to respin. I finished in 2nd with 62k earning a little over 5k more than I needed.

@tomc I want your leaderboard this week. How late did you start? Did you miss one or two objectives?

@kerravon I started at 6pm CST the 2nd day (1 hour before 7pm CST when objectives reset). The weekly leaderboard resets at 2pm CST so I started 28 hours late. I missed a 3000 objective and a whole set of objectives on the last day so 8500 points (not counting the 5500 everyone appeared to have missed the 1st day). Didn’t go for any additional grinding or re-spins.
