And while it will sound like I care, I don’t, really. I have too many stars to be in the bottom three (so won’t get demoted like I wanted — three people stayed right at zero while I was dumb enough to get five stars!) and am not even going to reach gem-award levels now that I have started playing more.
But sometimes these battles really irk me. I just did a battle where I did: SSBBSBS (S means strike, B means birdie), and I lost, BADLY. Opponent had 4 million while I had 2.7 million. If it had been a live fight, the opponent would have gotten 7 or 8 stars. And that’s without using three birds for any room (I did about the best I could given my bird distribution…). I didn’t expect to win with three birdies, but I doubt I would have won had I only had one birdie.
Second battle I get six stars by going SSS3SSS (one three-birder). Three-birding is BAD NEWS, yet I win handily.
So, maybe I do care, not about doing well this time in the arena (I will be sure not to even TOUCH the Arena next time so that I can get demoted *smile*), but about understanding how battle scoring works. Feels a bit too random on a game that already has a fair amount of luck as far as how much damage any given strike will do…
Thanks,
