@ny2hou2dc Yeah, this is one of the major bugs, or glitches, that Rovio is currently investigating. It might have been caused due to you using 2 devices to sync progress. If this is the case, then you should ask Rovio to restore your progress from a time before this glitch started happening, for example, one day before the glitch.
And I advise you to play the game on one device only, as in, delete the game from either your iPhone or iPad.
