Bad Piggies Flight in the Night Bonus Level 4-II Walkthrough

Bad Piggies Flight in the Night Bonus Level 4-II (4-2) can be 3-starred in two runs, but it is a bit challenging. Regardless of the objective, equip your contraption with umbrellas for stability and fireworks for extra propulsion. If you don’t want to use the powered wheel, you will likely travel too slow to beat the clock. For extra speed, use the fireworks to blast up the last incline to beat the clock!

It’s possible to get all three stars on one run without the powered wheels – just activate the blue firework right before it leaves the ramp shown in the video to fly through most of the level.

That’s probably the best way to do it. But if you want to have some “fun”, it’s possible to drive through the level under the time limit without the powered wheels or the aid of fireworks. This was how I completed the level for the first time (admittedly after a lot of crashes), and I found myself in slight disbelief, because the clock read 0:02 as I crossed the line. That seems a pretty clear illustration that this definitely isn’t a strategy for individuals at risk for heart disease.

To clarify: This was using a simple three-box, one-engine cart with a propeller on the front, not the video’s more complicated contraption. When I did it, I actually had the fireworks on the cart (above and below the middle box), but I forgot they were there and didn’t activate them. They actually seemed to provide some stability, and certainly would be useful as an emergency measure.

I used a 3-box cart, small wheels, prop on front. Umbrellas on top corners, red rocket under center block, blue above it AND a green soda bottle on the back. At start turn off umbrellas, hit prop, wait half a second, hit BOTH rockets and take off. Right after you clear the lip you should be angled slightly upward. Hit the soda bottle for an extra forward kick. Land with thew umbrellas and cruise to the end, using umbrellas and prop as needed to stay upright, although this one’s pretty stable.

I was able to beat the clock with an almost similar contraption of the video, but using doble small wheels (it was easier for me than the one in the video because I kept getting stuck in some borders where the road is broken).

It is SO SO SO much easier to use this design for the no automatic wheel.
Fire the rockets and soda at the same time when you are 2/3 of the wat to the end of the first plaeto after the big drop(same time as the video).

U RR B U
8 S P E PR
W BR B W

Key
U: umbrella
RR: red rocket
B: black soda
8: v8
S: stone (disqused as a egg, but at the last cutscenes for flight of the night it shows the stone put in water revealing that it wat painted white)
P: pig
E: engine
PR: propeller
W: iron wheel
BR: blue rocket

And fot the timer goal

BR B B G
V8 S P E PR
W RR G AW

Key
Same as before +
G: green soda
AW: automatics wheel

Fire up the rockets when going in for the dive that is before the dive for the brocken road. Again SO SO SO bunch easier beacause it is a lot harder to accidentally crash.

I think this is the only level to have long time with no object challenge. To win this 35 second challenge and reach to finish without the engine wheel, use some fireworks and the average time to reach the finish line is 1.70 sec.
I think this level is somewhat challenging.
