“Angry Birds Sky Fighter” or “Ace Fighter” (We are not exactly sure yet about the official title) — a brand new “Arcade Style” Angry Birds game has just been soft-launched in Asia on Android only. The game has a classic shoot-em-up feel — but with birds and pigs. A fixed shooter game in which the player controls a spaceship or aircraft at the bottom of the screen, and shoots enemies (Bad Piggies) descending in various directions. From what I can see it reminds of the class arcade game 1942 (remember it? video below).
What we Know:
- Multiple Areas: Each with a unique theme, and a boss fight.
- A variety of combat mode, team battle, etc …
- Leagues: Compete with friends through social networks
- Soft Launched on Android only.
If anyone here has more info or general thoughts please share them in the comments below.
If it soft launched in Asia, does that mean it also launched in Malaysia?
And yet another example on how Rovio keeps pissing me off.
@trainman2012
I agree.
Nice visual effects. I agree it does look like 1942 and some of the older style shooting games. Just another example on how Rovio is diversifying their game lineup, probably for wider appeal to attract a different customer base.
I’m from India Where can I get this game for my Android Device ?
Me too finding that. I’ll notify it later. And the gameplay video too is from other channel, not from ABN. Meanwhile, check out the official website. (It is in Chinese so you have to translate it) http://ab.kunlun.com/
But its size is 190.57 MB, so you have to download it from a Wi-Fi network in BlueStacks.
EDIT:The download link is in the website.
Seems to be officially called Angry Birds: Ace. The guy knew it not, after all of the name of the game.
God.. What a thick eyebrow Red has
…AAAnd I see three sets of microtransaction meters at the top of Screenshot 3. Really, Rovio? You give us a nice callback and then plaster IAPs everywhere the player can see because of inane greediness. At least Disney thought twice about using an energy system on “Where’s My Water? 2”. (It was there at first, but it was removed in V1.1.0, where the producers admitted they didn’t like it either.)
Well, at least this is able to stop after Rovio gains its profits from the movie… Unless Rovio really has thought about running itself into the ground.
I don’t think they’re all microtransaction meters. The one on the left looks like an energy system.

What do I have to do in here?

Did you try Google Translate? If it’s Chinese, Bing said it says this: “Snake Island game account called login account called two victims awareness trainer Xiu (; target … Put password: lost ‘} “. For sale: three … … Interactive ‘ Jiangyin aiming Zhi Huang Zhuo maids I forget ‘ thumping ˇ r
It means that… um, no idea, something about logging in to something.

Thanks @kai92
Try to download and install now… but is this game official from Rovio? because China games sometimes are not officially made.
@kai92 Is it published by Rovio?
at least it got Rovio logo at the splash/start screen, but i didn’t really play it as it need register account get activation code. Maybe i’ll just wait the final version.
I’m wondering the same. A LOT of the sounds are taken from other AB games (this is done occasionally in official AB games, but not to this degree), and the art and animation styles don’t seem to match any other AB game released to date.
Another thing – the video is made by ArcadeGo. There have been times in the past where they (he?) have/has made videos of non-official Angry Birds games.
Hm, does anyone have a link to Google Play? I could check there if it’s by Rovio or not. Otherwise someone could maybe try contacting their support team and ask?
Since this is beta testing, it won’t publish on Play Store. And i check the package name, it is “com.kunlun.wpzj”, so it is not publish by Rovio.
But where did you get it from if it’s not on the play store?
Hm, so if it’s not published by Rovio it may very well not be official.
I google search the game name “愤怒的小鸟王牌战机” and download the apk from China website.
According to Rovio’s official website, Rovio has partnered with Kunlun about one year ago.
You can find more information by using Google Search: Rovio Gets Wings to Fly Angry Birds Higher in China.
I think this game is targeted to Chinese market.
You might be right. That’d probably mean it’s exclusive to China and will always be, just like some other AB apps like the kakao one etc.
Downloaded, opened, created an account, but when I touched PLAY, it asked for the activation code. How to get it?
Do you like my new game idea?
https://www.angrybirdsnest.com/forums/topic/angry-birds-parkout-just-an-idea-of-mine/
I passed almost all the steps to skip this account business except this:
It wants a activation code which I can get it from here:
http://translate.googleusercontent.com/translate_c?depth=1&ie=UTF8&nv=1&rurl=translate.google.com&sl=auto&tl=en&u=http://ab.kunlun.com/jhm/&usg=ALkJrhgcJqNEHi1cfHbxWZ3WksTdynF3NQ
But the problem is that when I enter my phone number,it says the number is wrong!
Why? I live in Asia and enterd the code number too.
What’s wrong with it?
@hoanganhminh
Are you having the same problem?
Oh yes, thank you for saying what I wanted to
Maybe it does not accept phone number outside China, and only China phone number will work. Anyway, when I saw this activation code need phone number, I straight away uninstall this game, I feel not safe to give away my phone number(just my feel).
I translated the page and got “Ace Fighters”
