Just got a one-birder and top score (for a little while). Aim Poppy through the hanging fruit, landing on the middle structure. The explosion will cause debris to fly up to the right structure and when that one blows up, a piece of wood flew all the way over to the left.

@sweetp, I’m a little late to this party but came here to post the same thing. I found it quite accidentally, but just managed 88090 on iPad (stopped Android phone play yesterday before this level.)

WTG @justpast40 on a great score! I didn’t want the 3,000 points going to waste so that’s how I discovered the one-birder. It was on my third try that everything went kablooey but for only a 85k score, so I kept trying and varying the timing with the swinging fruit. And as @f91jsw mentioned below, I got lucky.

Thanks @sweetp. I had to take a break from this important gameplay for something equally important, i.e. my semi-monthly appt to have my nails done, but now that I’m back to really important things, I’ll be back to trying with @f91jsw detail. Prior to leaving for my VIP appt, I’d flung a # of times based on f91jsw suggestion, & s/he’s certainly onto something here as it pretty much guarantees hitting in the right area …. right & left sides may not cooperate, but that’s another story for another day.

I’ve been trying this so I’m happy to hear it is possible! Are you aiming yellow a little to the left of center on the middle structure or are you just letting her lob over, not activating after she goes through the fruit? I can’t find the sweet spot that sends debris both left and right. So far, only the right is cooperating but was pleasantly surprised by how long the bird will float along, ready to deploy, as long as I’m “holding.” I’ve had some luck going left of center so the bomb blows things right. @maiasatara, I really wasn’t aiming directly at the middle structure. Just through the hanging fruit, and the gentle lob will carry Poppy all the way to the structure. The best results for debris flying to the upper right is when she landed a teeny bit left of center.
It does take awhile to get the one-birder, so keep on flinging! You’ve done well in many other games/levels, so I’m sure you’ll get this one, too! Good luck!

So @Sweetp I just started this episode and I’m a bit confused to say the least lol..so you dont have to tap and hold you can just fling like normal?

@Kathy, just a little clarification that as soon as Poppy is nearing the middle structure, tap and hold to trigger her tornado then release when she is just a hair left of the center. Good luck my friend, hope you get the one-birder!

Ahh, yes @justpast40 the important things in life…I remember them well! LOL, I know what you mean, and having pretty nails is one of those very VIP things to do! You definitely have your priorities right! Good luck with the one-birder. I was revisiting this level today and couldn’t even get close to my current score. So, I guess we all have our off-days. GL!

Good strat @sweetp! It’s a low-yield strategy, but you can increase your chances somewhat by observing the swinging of the fruit: you want to time it so you hit the fruit when it is as far to the left as possible. That increases your chances of hitting the bomb in the middle structure straight on.

@SweetP and @f91jsw, It often takes a flock of “nesters” to comprise the strategy that is most helpful for a level. Thanks for your help on this one. My “bird brain” was struggling until I read and combined your suggestions. I will follow your example going forward! Great job!

Thanks for the compliments @cconnielf! I’ve been there, struggling myself to the point of needing a padded room and straitjacket! But the Nesters have saved me many, many times from going totally bonkers, so I know what you’re saying. Nice score, too!
