Angry Birds Star Wars Path of the Jedi Level J-3 Walkthrough

Our strategy for Angry Birds Star Wars Path of the Jedi level J-3 is a simple one. Fling Luke towards the Darth Vadar stand-in and strike him down with the lightsaber at the last second. With some luck Darth’s broken helmet will fly into the far right tower and take out that pesky pig.

What I did, was shoot Luke *over* Darth pig, take him out with the lightsaber, and crash into the elusive structure holding that little piggie. Got me 58,160 with that method.

Worked for me too-58740. Thanks.

@kprovance: I came to the same conclusion by trial & error, 61310.

Arc Luke low over him, and take him out as soon as you’re over him. Luke is better able to take out the pig, and if aimed right, will also topple the far right tower.

Even though NOTHING touches the falling discs when I use this method, the leftmost low pig is NOT popped when they fall. If i hope for the helmet to fly off to the right tower, that low left pig dies every time. This tells me it’s programmed to be less likely to die using this method. As I said, nothing interferes with the way the ball/disc falls so it should pop every time it’s hit!

On my iPhone, if I fling over Vader, lightsaber him, n smash into the far right structure, the centre big metal ball doesn’t squash the middle swamp pig, it just rests on him, happens every single smegging time.

Another way is exactly like the video except DON’T use the lightsaber. Smashing into Vader pushes his helmet into the right tower. Got 59960 that way.

Followed this strategy, however I used the saber just after hitting Darth Fake-r and destroyed a lot of the left tower as well. Only started experimenting to stop that annoying cut screen telling you how to use the saber from appearing!

The point spread is so negligible on this level that we must be missing something. The light sabre didn’t come into play on my score. Just straight into helmet with it flying into right structure. I’m going to give it a rest and come back later.

I think it’s a trade off. You either get right side or left side but not both. I tried the helmet toss strategy and moved up a bit but still needs to be a way to destroy it all. Who plays angry birds at 2:54 am?

Another way is to aim Luke at the brim of Vader’s head and swing just as you hit it. Luke would be pushed by Vader into the right-hand structure, pushing it to the right. Got 61k this way.

Seemed to me to work better if you swung saber a split-second after Luke hit. You need to knock over most of the right tower to get a high score.

Thanks @kartflyer – I scored highest this way ;-) Thanks to @mvnla2 as well. Your tips helped too ;-) You definately need some of the right structure to topple. I was passing over Vader to have Luke land at the wood base of the right structure. It worked well enough and you’d think it would score higher because he is able to definately reach the structure but the scores just didn’t seem to be as high.

Yup same as @kartflyer.
I aim at the corner of the slime ground and metal block under Vader, ignite the Lightsaber a fraction before it hits the concrete block n smashes it(just as your about to hit Vaders wooden saber – Wtf is up with that?). Then it’s slo-motion for a second (matrix style)as Luke goes under Vader n gets flung to the far right structure smashing the wood and collaping the structure, better for Luke to hit the second wood (square one)from the bottom, it collapses the structure, sending the metal behind.
Woo-hoo, just got 63390, using this method, (must be force paying me back for taking the time to write this :/ )my previous was 62680, using the off the hat method.
Phew hope u can get something from this, if ya took the time to read it. ;)

Thank you both @kartflyer and @mvnla2 for the strategy and technique tips. This one had me puzzled. Played a while then I scrolled down the page. Your posts saved the day and worked wonders. Knocking over the right tower still presents a challenge when hitting the stone but it seems that if Luke can get to the top of the stone it does push it to the right. If the laser touches the second hat spike from the left it does provide a consistent pattern of landing on the right structure. Also found that not activating the light saber does produce scores up to 59k.

Did it similar like @kartflyer, but aimed a little lower about the middle of the brim of helmet and the sword. Activated laser before hitting. Therefore the bird flies better into the side, not on top or wooden square below, of the tilted wooden plank of right tower.

It’s hard way. Timing, smashing forward / behind & point combination. Hit at lowest wooden part of R tower won’t work (or maybe after hundreds of repetition). Hitting one of higher parts works much better. I rised from 61K+ to over 63K. Next smaller improvement gives huge improvement at level ranking (eg +200 points = +10#).

For what it’s worth, I aim Luke so that his path will take him right down the barrel of Darth’s light saber and trigger him when he is *just* in reach with his own light saber. It could just be wishful thinking but that seems to give the helmet a bit more oomph when hitting the far right tower.

The center piggie is down in his hole wearing one of the stripped discs as a hat. I think he wants to know if I like his fashion statement.

My approach was to aim for the right tower with the aiming beam equidistant from the top of vader’s helmet and the leftmost suspended wheel activating the light saber above the centerline on vader’s helmet. If all goes well, Luke impacts the right tower and the falling wheels impact the center and left towers. I was fortunate to get great destruction on all three towers. It wasn’t easy though. As others have mentioned, the lower left pig doesn’t always pop. The left tower took what seemed like an eternity to fall (and have the lower left pig pop too). Happy flinging!!
