Our strategy for Angry Birds Star Wars Path of the Jedi level J-24 is to fling Luke over the north planet, popping the northeastern-most pig. Use Obi-Wan to trigger the TNT in the southeast part of the level, sending debris across the entire level.

After being stuck at 53k for quite awhile, I tried something a bit different.
First bird, reduced power over the top (similiar to the walkthrough), but with reduced power, you want him to come in almost perpendicular to the 2 wood blocks above the tnt. Use lightsaber to detonate. This should clear all piggies besides the one in the one in the blocks (upper right). It may not detonate the lower tnt, but it should move the wood to make it more accessible. (had about 22k after first bird)
Second bird, send above the top, full strength, but you want to just barely skim the gravity, you want Obi to go as far out as possible. When he gets to the last pig in the blocks, activate to send the blocks towards the last tnt. It seems to do more damage this way.
Improved from 53k to 58k.
Thanks for gr8 strategy. Haven’t hit the 58k mark yet but I will.
Thank you!
Thanks soooo much @sparty83 Improved by 6k with this method:)
wonderful strat @sparty83!! improved by 5k, thanks a bunch!!
Thanks @sparty83! Got 60470 with your strat. However, I found it easier to aim the first bird at full power, but closer to the planet so he comes in at the point you said, but not perpendicular. I have a green light-saber now, so angle may not be as important.
@Traneric — What strat did you use? Any additional hints?
61,940. I agree that full power is more repeatable and quicker to play multiple resets but I found that when using Sparty’s reduced power method the pig is more likely to float off below the blocks. This leaves more blocks to be directed downward on your next Obi shot for maximum points.
Excellent strategy! Increased my score by 7k! I found this way to be very repeatable with the best results, thanks @sparty83!
@sparty83 thanks! I’m up by several thousand too!
Genius @sparty83, you made my least favourite cascading-type level easy. A few times the lower TNT did explode with the 1st shot but I found I scored higher if it exploded with the 2nd shot. Thank you!
Awesome. This strategy improved my score by 4k. Thanks @sparty83
The strategy provided @sparty83 seems to be yielding more points, at least for me, so I think I’m going to try and this one for a while… :)
@sparty83, I got to hand it to you, that was an excellent suggestion on you part, I picked me up another 4k+ and hopefully I’ll pick up some more. Thank you very much.
Nice strat @sparty83!
This strat takes some practice, but you should be able to crack 60k sending Luke 1/2 power and Obi-Bomb full power on the northern edge.
I improved from 55980 to 60240. :)
Solid strat. Improved by 5,000 or so to 60,650. Nice work @sparty83.
Thanks from me too. Worked great!
sparty83, thanks for the tip. I got a 1 birder on this level! The tnt caused the debris to also take the pig out in the glass blocks.
@sparty83, when you shoot Obi Wan as you said, the first bird doesn’t matter! Thanks for your advice.
Thanks, @sparty83:)
I have no time to analyze your description (now, I return after a while away ;). I made very fast 1st B & earn 57.260 :). It was surprising a bit because I was on the run for 2ns shoot.
At the moment I pass 60.750 and continue working at score. By the way – I send stones after left side of stones square crash by OW. Seting the push direction is made on the fly and not straight!
Great strategy – many thanks!
Thanks @sparty83 great alternative strat helped me get above average:)
@sparty83 great advice improved from 56k to 59k, thank you.
I’m getting consistent 59 k with this. My problem is , I came into today’s challenge with 60950, lol. I can’t improve with any methods so far. I’ll keep checking back for newer hints but at least this method gets me close. SO close!
I managed it in one bird thanks to this strategy.
I did this completely backwards. Shot Luke south, slightly different from the video’s 2nd shot, he swung around to hit the northern TNT, taking out both planet-bound pigs. Then shot Obi-Wan north to the big metal block (same as video’s first shot) and pushed it south to hit the remaining pig and TNT. Score 57,100.
That’s the strategy I settled on too. Seems to give higher scores than the video.
same here, and this strat seems easier and more repeatable
Couldn’t resist chiming in with yet another alternate to the superb alternate offered up by @sparty83. This could be a one-birder… If the first bird was Obi-Wan. Luke, Luke, Luke! Why is it always Luke that gets to eat dessert first? It’s just not fair. Oh well, rather than fire Luke backwards and hope for an achievement to pop up, probably something like “Luke Jaywalker Award – you shot Luke backwards seven times in a row!” you should use him as the set up guy.
Thread the Needle
(Every strategy needs a catchy name)
1. Avoid the two TNTs floating in space on first shot.
2. Aim Luke between the two planets so his trajectory will take him just below the wood barricade TNT, basically a straight line.
3. Use lightsaber to “skin” the wood blocks on that side away from the TNT without blowing it up. It’s important to at least pull wood away, and its not bad if you take care of the pig next to TNT on lower planetoid with debris falling down.
4. Aim Obi-Wan exactly as @sparty83 describes, with the bird kissing the top side of the barricaded TNT. Force push that sucker into both remaining TNTS for double the fun. This chaos should cause much of the debris to vaporize because you’ve got complimentary explosions working against a lot of wood.
My apologies if this isn’t doesn’t get you at least 60,000. Have fun and remember kids, having Mark Hamill hair isn’t cool.
Aloha.
60890 – Close, but I need practice with the first bird. I cleared everything but the TNT’s and the upper right pig with 1st shot.
Oh yeah, I forgot. I don’t have much hair, so looking ‘not cool like Mark Hamill’ is not a problem.
Make that the lower TNT in the wood/steel, and the upper pig. My bad!
@surfcow, It could be worse, if one were to look like Mark Hamill.
Speaking of my idol, Mr. Hamill, I forgot to mention the other reason for sending that first bird between the planets: it conveniently pushes the short “fence” of small ice-cube-looking things out of the way, clearing the path for Obi Wan’s Force Push to lower right TNT on your second shot. That’s how you’ll know you’ve “threaded the needle” — when Luke hits the edge of the fence and pushes it out of the way. Aloha.
@surfcow – I see your “thread the needle”, and raise you a “Dead Man”. As you mentioned, this could be a one birder if only it were Ben, so I used Luke to take a banzaii run at the two metal blocks on the upper planet, swinging the light saber upon impact to pick up an extra couple thousand points, then used Ben to slightly graze the upper gravitaitional field, ending up just above and to the right of the metal box, directing the force push toward the lower suspended TNT. All pigs killed, all three TNT’s detonated, and a new top score for now! 63,830
@burbman – very creative – and obviously efficient use of the birds were dealt for this hand of Dagobah Hold ‘Em Poker. I assume you went straight at the metal rather than the long way around. And you avoided the annoying wall by throwing from second base to third base and then home plate. Congrats and Aloha.
Surcov “This could be a one-birder… If the first bird was Obi-Wan”. As I wrote higher: I made 1B with LUKE only (57.260) so it’s possible (by Sparty way). Both TNT’s were gone, Luke kill Pig at Square Space Castle.
Going Sparty83 way I was able to earn 61.800 and by Surcov way – 61.810. That shows so there are some different, equal possibilities. Both was made by hit low right TNT, next one thick brick go to top left one TNT and scraches it (or not) at very last moment.
Just for fun I discovered an alternative “Reversed Sparty”: 1. Luke like film 2. OW tight arond at top TNT. Good way for pass adverage (quite easy 56-57K).
The clou of a day (few hours spent at J24): “Corrected Surcow” with a bit of my spices. This is estimation of push direction / tap with OW such debris goes at BOTH TNT straight SAME time. Top left one square box go directly at top left TNT! Rest at right TNT. This gave me nice #3 / 64.590 :). I move there + 522 positions today.
PS Row of 4 next levels waiting 4 me. At every one I’m bashfully under adv. ;(
Thank you @burbman for the outstanding post. It worked great and I am sorry, just a little too great(I do not try to do it, it just happens). Found that I needed at least 7k with Luke to obtain a higher score and aiming for the upper or lower right block (of the doubleblocks) seemed to get there consistantly. There also seems to be accelerated movements as to where Obi lands into or right above the far right set of blocks. Picked up 5k in score.
thanks @burbman and @surfcow ! I now have finally achieved the Jedi addict badge on this level. mucho aloha!
Thanks @the gambling duo..hopefully when i come back with stronger forces i can place a bet on the stats presented:) for now above average will have to do:)
@surfcow: Thanks for this strategy! I had been struggling to increase my score on this level and broke 60K on first try. I’ve finally had some time to revisit ABSW and increasing scores and this REALLY helped.
Thanks, great strat!
Ummm thanks guys I think, I kinda got what you were saying?! All the baseball/gambling jargon was a bit confusing though….anyways @wrw01 did my heart good to see you up there with that trophy!! :D Love seeing one of my fav peeps next to a trophy!! Yeay!!!!
Revisiting for the DC I have just a couple of additions.
iPad Orientated so that the sling is down and the metallic cube is up:
I try to have Luke hit just above the horizontal line indented on the metal blocks on the left lower planetoids and swing after he has made contact. The best scores I’ve had range from 7200 to 7500 on that shot.
Shot two. Aim Just so the last two tracking dots are just in line with the gravity field riming the lower left planetoid.. If you can see either one inside or outside of the line the landing point will be off, especially outside. Obi misses ths first large cube and obliterates the two rectangular ones. I wait as long as possible after contact and then force push towards the inside corner of the blocks towards the planetoid with the TNT or towards the lower right in my orientation. The rest is dependent on damage points and luck.
Many many tries with scores in the high 62’s and low 63’s before my current score

many thx to @surfcow @sparty83 for the strat. and details
here my video:
https://youtu.be/nYi2LYm6CcY
Similar to @surfcow but allow Luke to detonate the TNT which will take out the pigs on both asteroids. Second shot – aim Obi over the top gravity field at its outer extremity and detonate at the cement blocks, pushing them down to the remaining TNT.
I used first bird to swipe the tnt which caused all to explode then used next one to hit the pig in the block encased on far right.
I used @burbman ‘s “Dead Man” strat and followed @swelld ‘s detailed instructions exactly. I had several 62’s and 63’s before I hit the lucky one.

@stocktoad Two puppies in three days. You’ll need a bigger kennel! Well done.
Same here. Screenprint: http://angrybir.de/1kB5ayK
Congratulations @stocktoad ~ Excellently done, I’m so proud of you!
You’re a Master Slinger indeed !!!
I’m off to give those same methods a try ~ wish me luck…
Using this strategy I just managed 64500 on Android phone during today’s Challenge. Grrrrrrr, by my calculation this is a mere 330 short of another puppy. Whiinnnnnnne, oh ABCG ( Angry Birds Challenge Gods), I have less than 2 hours to improve enough for another puppy.
@justpast40 I was only 50 points below and did it. It’s really worth more tries. Good luck!
Thank you for the encouragement @wrm69 ….. I was so close, but didn’t make it : -(. Shortly after your post I came close to my 64500, but was 50 below….I guess it was the same 50 below you initially faced ; -).
This is probably the closest I’ve come to missing a puppy & it’s quite disheartening. I had to work today (it’s income tax time & I manage a well known tax office,) so I didn’t have the necessary time to devote to the skill of beating an existing Challenge score …. Oh well, I have a long weekend, so maybe in the next few days I will succeed. Congrats to you & the others on your new puppies!
Congratulations to the other badge winners.
After 3 64k scores I finally made it with the method described by @burbman.
@amslimfordy Here is my screenshot:
SW PotJ J-24 with a perfect first shot
I used the 1st shot described by @burbman as well, followed by the 2nd shot skimming the top atmosphere.
I wasn’t quite sure in @swelld ‘s description where he was tapping to aim the force, but I was tapping low, above the TNT on the lower planetoid. I seemed to score better if the 2 TNT exploded separately, a couple of seconds apart.
Like others several 63k scores until I lucked out for the needed points.

Congrats @burpie, @wrm39 & @Stocktoad on your scores :)
