Angry Birds Star Wars Moon of Endor Level 5-8 Walkthrough

Our strategy for Angry Birds Star Wars Moon of Endor level 5-8 is to pull the hanging branch leftward with Leia’s tractor beam. It can pop the pig trooper on the left before falling on the head of the AT-ST. If the branch bounces back to the right, it will take out the tower and finish the level. The score in the video below is 71,680.

I sent Leia to come in just under the AT-ST’s laser so that she lands between the left Trooper and it’s chin. I put her tractor beams on the same area…at the circle knob there just right of that Trooper. This will pull up the AT-ST and drop it to the ground. His lasers will shoot the top Trooper while landing where it then shoots down the right structure. 85460 so far ;-)

@lesleyg, followed several strats, then read this comments. Although there are higher scores possible, none of them worked for me. Then used yours, with 1 fling I got 86k. Thank you.
Enough for now, i’m gonna look at the other levels.

@bernersenn – I’m glad it worked for you…and on the first fling no less ;-))) I plan on coming back around to do some improvements…As it is, I am taking too long trying to get some good above average scores on the first run through. I better get a move on…only three more levels to go than I can start the new Space update ;-)))
We’ll have yet another update tomorrow…oh well, that one will have to wait until I finish Space. I never finished that odd ABO update…I didn’t like it, lol ;-) I hope we don’t have to finish those to access the update ;-) Happy Flinging my friend ;-)))

@lesleyg, I am lots of games in space behind, it’s because they need another approach. The last time I got back from space I had to practice my skills on the regular levels again, missed the dotted lines, lol. So I collect them to play after each other. What ABO concerns, we think the same about it.

My strategy was similar to the video except I needed a second bird to finish off 1 pig in the rightmost tower. What gave me a high score was luck: the AT-ST dropped three times (as it shot itself up) causing new destruction each time. I think it was actually lucky that I had the stray pig since the level couldn’t time out on me, making it possible for me to stop and watch the destruction pints accumulate before shooting bird 2.

Shoot lea high and aim the beam between the head of the at st and the pig on the leg. Tha at st will turn around and shot to the right and destroy everything.

Arrrrrrrrrrrgh!!!!!! I’ve killed the AT-ST every possible way but I can’t break 80k. As soon as all pigs are dead, the level times out quickly even as damage points are still accumulating. I haven’t found how to keep a pig alive AND get the AT-ST in a position to do major damage. It’s fun watching the AT-ST do ballet as he flips over. I’m moving on for now.

I found that shooting Leia backwards and up (at around 10 o’clock)and then tapping the AT-ST on the joint just below the head on the left lifts the entire AT-ST up and flips it over. With a little luck and persistence, it will shoot everything causing mass destruction before ultimately destroying itself.

Well, again I got lucky here. The AT fell over and shot everything on the right and then it slowly rolled back to the right, finally shooting straight up getting the hanging trooper. Topscore for now :-)

Wow after quietly flinging away for nearly a year, I finally got a top score. I wish I could add some great advice after all the help I’ve gotten on this forum, but all I can say is patience was the key. I followed the strategy of flinging under the chin and pulling on the leg joint like everyone else. The only difference was when the AT-ST fell into the pit, it started a very slow counterclockwise rotation that took out the top pig after everything else was gone. Like 15 mins kind of slow! If I could give any help it would be that this seemed to be a consistent pattern. So if the AT-ST falls into the pit and is shooting at the metal tower, wait a bit and see if the lasers are creeping their way counterclockwise to the top pig.

@texasxs, Congrats on your score & help please. I understand where to aim, but need some advice about when to aim or activate her beam. When did you shoot her beam? Just after you left slingshot? Halfway there? Almost to the AT-ST? I don’t know if I’m too far away or too close. I’ve tried a variety with no success. I can’t break 85k, let alone my goal of 89k or more. TIA

Hey justpast40, sorry for the late reply. I found the best success when activating the beam ASAP. If you activate right after sending her, I found she is typically about halfway to her destination by the time the beam is actually initiated. You will know you’re on the right track if her beam splits into 3-4 “rays”. Hope this helps!

Returning to Star Wars after completing Star Wars II I was sometimes thinking “What would I do for a character swap – that log behind AT-AT….”. After a couple of tries throwing Leia behind AT-AT and brining down the log – a one birder. Not a high score but I am sure there are more points if I tried

I’ve been playing this Challenge level today and just scored 100,920 points using the same strategy as posted by @lesleyg over two years ago.Thank you @lesleyg !!
I have posted 2 screenshots in my album. The first pic shows the trajectory of the pink bird and the amount of destruction & leftover debris with the AT-ST still shooting as the unused birds are counted. The bird’s tracer dots show where I aimed Pink,and end where I activated her “beams” (there were 4) at the top of the circular joint directly behind the first Storm Trooper. The AT-ST went up and landed where it’s back foot had been,all the while shooting at the far right tower. Then it slid down to it’s final resting location-seen in the photo- and kept firing upward while slowly rocking back & forth. Points were still accumulating as the level timed out. The amount of destruction is clearly shown.
The second screenshot shows the final score.
