Angry Birds Star Wars Moon of Endor Level 5-6 Walkthrough

Our strategy for Angry Birds Star Wars Moon of Endor level 5-6 is to fling Han into the ropes holding the suspended branch, shooting out the wooden block of the rightmost tower. The branch should crush the pig below, while the tower will topple onto the last pig on the right. The score in the video below is 57,770.

Thank you @lesleyg, it was 1 lucky shot that improved my 62330 to the 64130. I’m surprised it’s still holding as I think it’s been almost 2 hrs. I don’t think I did anything differently between the 2 shots, but it will be interesting to see how the next TopScore flinger gets their score. I just wish more TopScore holders would post their strategies whether it be ABSW, ABO, ABS or ABSp.

I also used the same strategy as the video. I believe there are more points to be had as several metal blocks remained after my shot.

The trick here is to launch Han in a path as high as possible (without him hitting the rock on the way down of course) and firing early to shoot through the ropes so that Han can fly over the hanging log and fall on the second tower.

2 birds. Launch HS same as the video, but fire through the bottom 2 round logs to the left metal lower stand of the very left structure. HS must cut the left rope of the upper log. As the result – 2 left round logs and left structure will be destroyed, the upper log will be swinging a bit, hanging its right side only. Launch LS to hit the center of the upper log when it is in the rightmost position (if the log is swinging too heavy, then less points may be scored, so wait a bit). On impact use force. The log will be splitted in two parts and destroy almost everything. May the force be with you.

Very innovative strategy indeed, @maxim-barybin! However, I’ve only seen 30k after the first shot, and, I’m having difficulty getting the log to fly far enough to the right to nab the far right structure. Might you have any additional tips?

@rubeeinthesky, in order to get a really great score, after the first shot the score should be more than 35K. And an upper log should be swinging. Usually, I am waiting for it to swing two times, after that try to shoot LS when the log is in its left position. On impact wait a bit and then use the force. Hope that will be helpful.

Thank you for your response (and patience with my slowness to catch on to your strategy), @maxim-barybin. However, I’m still having a hard time with this one.

I have been since able to get my first shot up to a little over 31k, but I’m thinking that perhaps the difference in scores may lie in when/where you are aiming your shots from Hans after you launch with an arc similar to the walkthrough? I usually wind up firing just a bit before HS hits the rope. When I am successful, both logs break and the left structure (and piggy within) crumble as a result of the lowest horizontal wood plank busting. Is this the same result as you are getting?

Also, your first strategy says to launch when the log is in its *rightmost* position, but your second response says to launch in the *left* position? I have been trying both, but still I’m having a hard time getting the log all the way over to the right (with exception of once, which accounts for my current score).

@rubeeinthesky, 1st shot- try to start shooting right after the launching, 2nd shot – in my previous post I mentioned the time of launching. It means, in my case, if you launch LS when the swinging log is in its leftmost position, then an impact will be when the log will be in the rightmost position ;). Good luck!

A little more detail on how to improve your score for this level. I continued to work on this level after the challenge a few days ago. Here is how I got my score:

1st bird – aim the tracking beam so Hans breaks only the left rope holding the log and lands on the rightmost pig. The aim point I used for the laser is the center of the rightmost / lower round log. The timing on the activation of the laser is ridiculous – as in immediately after launching Hans to the left rope. Definitely a two hand shot! The action is: the wheels break into smaller pieces, the small metal support breaks and allows the left tower to fall left on the broken logs while Hans breaks through the left rope ending up on the log near rightmost rope while the left end of the log rotates and then drops on the remaining pieces of debris.

2nd bird: I let the log hanging by the right rope stop moving. I aimed the end of Luke’s tracking beam just barely above the lower double band on the log. I activated Luke’s light saber just after impact. The objective here is to drive the log to the right with the top of the top (or right) half of the log landing on the hill just to the left of the right tower just barely hitting the lower left vertical bar before it comes to rest. When this bar breaks the tower falls left and is destroyed (or most of it). Don’t hit the horizontal bar above it as the tower will fall right with little point value. If all goes well the lower (or left) half of the log falls on the center structure.

The challenge with this level is You need two very well executed shots. The first needs to generate at least 35K for a high score. The trick is to maximize the points from destroying the two round logs. The second shot requires great timing to get the log to fall in the right position. You also may need to adjust your aim points depending on your device as I am using an iPad 1. This works for an iPhone as well. I got a 68680 on my iPhone. Now to find out how get another 1500+ points.

Thanks Lancer854 (@maxim-barybin), pretty innovative. I only managed an embarrassing 70 points from 64130>64200, but I see the potential. My highest after 1st bird has been 31k. Do you have any idea of your score after the 1st shot when you got your incredible 69k + score?
