Angry Birds Star Wars Moon of Endor Level 5-21 Walkthrough

Our strategy for Angry Birds Star Wars Moon of Endor level 5-21 is to bounce Han off the drum and over the AT-ST. Fire his blaster downward off the slanted metal block, ricocheting the blasts through the ropes holding the AT-ST’s head. So long as Han causes the main structure to fail, the level should be passed. The score in the video below is 70,780.

Same idea as the video except for instead of trying to ricochet the shots off the concrete with the pig, aim for the ropes holding the head up. The yellow bird has to hit the structure the same as the video.

I had my highest scores when I shot through the ropes and at the ATST head, damaging it. It seems that when damaged, there is a higher probability that the lasers will be directed right/up at the structure.

Thank you, this was easier than the video.

Your strategy worked better, but I’m not happy with my points. I only just cleared three stars, so I’ll try to improve that later.

I used the tip posted by @sfarmer1228 about shooting straight for the ropes instead of relying on the ricochet. Thank you ;-) I did aim low on the ropes, near the AT-ST’s ears hoping to damage the head a bit as suggested by @f91jsw ;-) The extra points came when the top left helmet pig remained alive. The AT-ST was mangled down below, continuously shooting itself. I was going to reset but I waited and sure enough… after he shot himself to oblivion, one of the lasers ricocheted up and got that top left pig! A big “L” factor for me ;-)

Followed this strategy. Missed the structure to the right with the bird, but the AT-ST head rolled allowing the lasers to take out nearly all of the structure and the remaining pigs.

Ahhh Thank you @lesleyg and @f91jsw I was trying NOT to damage the AT-ST (why is it called that btw¿) it would just lay there, now I’ll try hitting it:)

@lesleyg Help!:( I now can’t get the At-At to shoot itself: ( no matter what if i hit it or not I’m aiming low on the ropes but its head just tips over and the shots hit the grass: (

I sent Han over the structure trying NOT to knock it down. The ricochet flips the AT-ST, and because the right-side pigs are still alive the AT-ST has more time to blast itself, racking up thousands of points. You still need a lucky blast to take down the structure, but at least the game won’t time out while you are still scoring points.

Good flinging!

Def the important factor here is getting the ATST to rotate enough to have the angle to hit the upper structure after it’s shot thru its own leg. I found the main way to decrease the “luck factor” is to shoot down on the ears of the ATST about 3/4 of the way thru your arch after you bounce off the drum. And your arch should leave you falling behind the structure as mentioned earlier. Hope this helps reducing someone’s retries by about 50 attempts!

Using pointers from @sfarmer1228, @lesleyg and @texasxs i managed to make theAT-ST’s flip more consistent. The AT-ST needs to flip so that the feet land right side up. When this happens the final shots are ricocheted up to the structure on the right.

If the following conditions are met you can score in mid seventies about 50% of the time:

1. Bounce Han off drum and clear far right structure (leave it intact for the AS-TS to destroy)
2. Ricochet Hans’ blaster off the metal diagonal platform with the piggy . Aim for the small wood piece.
3. First shots cut the ropes and the last laser blast should hit the AT-ST.

By far the hardest part is timing the shot.

Guessing three stars is 68k. First try it seemed to work as in the video, but only two stars. Many attempts later, same strat, 68070 = three stars. If 68k is actually the divider, do I get an award for getting the lowest three star score? Lol
