Angry Birds Star Wars Moon of Endor Level 5-18 Walkthrough

Our strategy for Angry Birds Star Wars Moon of Endor level 5-18 is to bounce Luke off of the drum, causing him to ricochet straight upward toward the suspended pig. Slice all three ropes nearby to cause the wheel to drop on two pig troopers and the branch to topple the AT-ST. The score in the video below is 64,360.

This level scores sure do vary wildly. I wonder if the high 77K scores are with two birds, a different strat or an extremely lucky laser show!? It often likes to time out while your points are still calculating.
Here’s a few tips that can help squeeze out a few extra points.
If you send Luke right when or a split second before the lasers start to shoot out, you will avoid Luke getting hit by them. Also try aiming him as close as possible to the floating rock so that when he bounces all the way up to the top, activate his saber at the last possible second and try and get up as high as possible so that you get all of the strings (it seems the string itself calculates at 300 points per section)and you can also partially slice the slanted cement plank up there. Small points I know, but it seems every little bit helps ;-) Lastly, it’s best if the middle green helmet pig survives before the tnt ignites, giving you more time for the lasers to rack up points. I’m at 68450 so far, GL ;-)

@AngryAdvisor. I did like you said and the Saber hit the top slanted bar and that brought down a couple cut logs for a few more points. Ty for help. :)

Yeah, it ends quickly. Another level where the laser is still doing damage when it’s cut off. I almost missed seeing the last pig die, it was so fast lol

My starts are different.
I aim approximately straight in the lower area of the log.
I dropped only a log by a light saver.
Leaving a hung stump and pig and.
I thought that it was luck afterward, but, by the angle of the laser, destroyed a log and all the left upper stumps and a pig!
If time-up was slow, the scores still increased!

@thee-michelle I have been using this strat with decent results though not as good as yours. ;)

I find if I just brush the bottom of the hanging log that we see end-on above the 2 storm troopers, then saber down the hanging log on the right, it seems to give me a slightly higher score.

73120 with this strategy, which keeps the level going longer than the video one, so more destruction.

Bringing down the log also worked for me. It’s a fun strat to watch especially if half the log starts bouncing on the drum.

I found another one bird strategy that consistently scores 60-65K.

I shoot Luke toward the disk and graze it without activating the light saber. He should deflect into the arm joint of AT-ST. This causes it to fire on a different angle. The recoil from each shot raises the angle slightly so that the whole area is covered and all piggies are usually hit. The score depends on how much debris is destroyed before the final piggie. I obtained 65K quite often.

My 76K was a fluke cause the AT-ST self destructed and I had an easy shot with the second bird to get the last piggie.

@birdmeister, same strat as you with destructive result. 3th highscore today (for how long)? It’s a matter of luck – and in my case, use a second bird to send debris into the laser. Then lean over and watch. Thank you.

I sent Luke over the floating rock, just above the storm troopers head. He impacts on the AT-ST’s forehead and rolls down onto the helmeted piggie. I didn’t use the light saber. Then the fun begins! Sit back and watch as the AT-ST shoots himself, the TNT and the surrounding area. This will almost always get you into the high 60’s even if you have to use a second bird to get the last hanging piggie. If the AT-ST gets all the pigs you’ll score in the mid to high seventies. Fun fun level! Enjoy

I am using this strategy also with the aim of killing no pigs with Luke. The AT-ST starts to party and the fun begins. Up to 76 but think there is a fair number of points to go.

@bird-addict, this strategy has made this one of the most enjoyable levels to play over and over, because you always have the hope of some really great AT-ST destruction :) The only thing that I did slightly differently was to use the light saber when passing over the storm troopers. Thanks again, I might just play this level a hundred more times :)

I can’t believe it !!!! I’ve managed a TopScore of 85450 months after the release:

I’m embarrassed to say, I don’t know how this happened; I wasn’t watching, but I sure wish I’d seen the destruction. I’d looked up from my Android phone screen & when I looked down I had to do a double-take, because not only did it show “Level Cleared High Score,” but the score was over 85k & I was pretty sure I remembered the TopScore here being 84k something.

I’d been aiming using the variation of @birdmeister strategy as posted by @bird-addict in that I was aiming above the 2 StormTroopers & below the disc. I was not however activating the saber & Luke would hit the AT-ST’s forehead. Prior to this, my best had been 72650 & I’d continued to fling hoping for another 10k, but I never imagined this. I can see in pic background that the top left was destroyed by the AT-ST lasers & the several logs appear broken on the top of the rock/ledge. As to what else was destroyed or the order, I have to idea as it’s not visible in the pic.

This TopScore is a real rarity for me; it may only be my 2nd or 3rd (not counting those when a level is first released) so I hope it lasts a little while.

An alternative 1 birder: it’s kind ‘hairy’ but with much potential.

Ignore the drum. Launch Luke over the rock (the floater with the two troopers) and under the hanging things. The primary target is the AT-ST. Give it a light kiss with the light sabre and watch some amazing results!

It gets knocked back, but for a few seconds before full collapse and destruction can shoot everything worth hitting, including a ‘log shute’ high on the tree’s left. This behaves like a depth charge rack on a the stern of a destroyer hunting a submarine. (do not expect them to explode, however, as they are only wood. Han tried to explain dropping “boom logs” to the Ewoks… C3PO had to rescue him from the roasting spit… again.)

You can’t reach this via the drum bounce, as you can the 2 ropes which drop the single logs. With a little luck, the AT-ST will bounce shots off:
– itself as it collapses
– other bits of flying metal
– it will rack up points from every self inflicted hit until the level stops.

Timing and Luck! You need to experiment with the moment to launch Luke’s attack. After the light sabre strike, the AT-ST has moments to live. Self-inflicted damage accumulates with every gun burst. So each one is precious and it only takes a few reaching targets to bring everything down.

So far, after 5 tries, I have only cranked up 65K but expect to post “record – breaking” scores soon.

For over two hours I could not beat my existing score until I got lucky. I did not do anything special just flung for a couple of hours while watching TV. And does anyone else think we should get points for making Ewoks leap into the air (with joy?) every time something bounces off of the drum? i had a Rave going for the bits of broken log that kept trampolining off that drum. Too cute!
