Our strategy for Angry Birds Star Wars Moon of Endor level 5-16 is to bounce the Red bird off the drum and into the wheel far, far away. The wheel can crush the structure next to it, clearing the level. The score in the video below is 54,030.
Important Note: Bouncing a bird off of a drum does not remove the bird’s ability. For example, as seen in the video, Luke can swing his lightsaber long after bouncing off the drum. This is a very significant change in the Angry Birds franchise, which has always employed the rule that bird abilities are canceled (or begun on time-delay) upon contact with any object.
I played this just like the video above.
Nicely done @sunshine ;-))) Whoo Hoo!!!
The method that the pig knocks down while assigning a light saver to the arrow before the drum, and pushing the log.
I succeed several times, but a score does not improve.
The 1.2K~1.7K score should improve if you can completely handle it.
Thank you @thee-michelle :-) This is a wonderful tip for getting the extra points I needed to improve my score ;-))) Very clever of you to think of this! ;-D
I am glad to help @lesleyg and @tinus!
Because it is not yet the score that is assent, I challenge it!
Thank you @thee-michelle! It takes some practise figuring out how to get a part of the arrow and land properly as show in the video, but it paid out. Topscore for now :-)
@thee-michelle, great tip, got a highscore (for now) with this extra points. http://angrybir.de/1guyyzV
My second one today!
I’m getting 1200 for arrow destruction thanks to @thee-michelle but the positioning on the drum is a NIGHTMARE! One pixel to the left and I bounce off the edge of the grass holding the log. One pixel to the right, I’m flying over the log area completely. Didn’t love this level the first time; don’t love it now. Improved about 1K (whoopie) but I’m too competitive. I want 60k!
@maiasatara – I agree with you about the positioning on the drum. Our current scores are very similar, so we are definitely shooting in a very similar fashion thus far today…. :) (At the time of this, you had 56,910 and I had 56,710)
Thank you for the tip. I tried many times and then suddenly on one attempt everything was destroyed except for the log – complete devastation. Not why it happened on this occasion. Patience I guess!
@thee-michelle what a fun little tip! I was able to get about 1700 pts out of that wooden arrow – a nice bonus. Thanks for sharing the idea.
@bernersenn,@figsy72,@hallieginsb
The score that everybody is great! I am honored to help everybody!
@thee-michelle, thank you
@thee-michelle — Thanks! Got your strat to work for 58670.
@geirh61 — Congrats on great score. Any additional tips on getting there? Thanks.
The score that I was satisfied with was got at last!
When a condition to get scores more than 58K was that a stump got on on the metal stick like screenshot, I was convinced.
If this well later metal stick is broken, you can break most pieces.
I was able to get more than 58K from this state three times.
The key is that a metal stick is broken.

@mvnla2
I glad your helpful!
How got 64K? @geirh61 ABSW 5-16
@thee-michelle and @mvnla2
I have asked the site manager to remove my score. It is an error in the scoring if one tries out the power up’s in the way that in some situations the regular score is overwritten by the power up score.
I have no longer any idea of what my regular score was on this level.
@geihr61 — Thanks, although I was hoping you had a higher scoring strategy.
BTW — You can change you score back to what it previously was by entering -1.
@geirh61
Thank you for reply!
I thought that there was a structure of the score up in this level on an invisible part with the screen which there was in ABSP.
I can sleep in peace!
@mvnla2 & @thee-michelle
I uploaded a picture : http://angrybir.de/1933mq4
showing my score – as an example of how an bug can mess up the scores.
GeirH61
@geirh61 — Just realized you meant that there is sometimes a bug that causes your PU score to overwrite what is supposed to be a non-PU score.
Any chance you got that high a score without PUs?
@BirdLeader @AMSlimfordy
I have forwarded @geirh61‘s bug details to Rovio for further investigation.
Thank you for sharing @thee-michelle. I’m quite far behind on so many of these & eventually managed 58540 on Android phone with your strategy. I’m still 1k below yours 3k+ from the TopScore, but I’m satisfied with the score & rank for now….time to move on
Thank you @thee-michelle 60090 using your method!
after 10 hours
every hour a little bit more points
i think, use the drum on right side (i don´t know which side is the right side)
at the beginning,perhaps i used the left side of the drum.
the method of @thee-michelle isvery good. thx.
the tree behind the first trooper must kick over the stone, break the wood and the other wood fall down and break all.
tree roll to the left and break the stones.
good luck
60180/1
i used the right side, bird must hit the tree after roll over.
activate before impact
thx to @thee-michelle

Same as video. Pretty straightforward. Still I’m barely over average so I’ll probably be revisiting this level. I tried not using Luke’s sword, but he doesn’t quite reach the log with enough force. Or he over shoots it. I wasn’t able to find a sweet spot for that method.
This one was rough. Using the video strat, or as close as I could come to it, I kept averaging a bit less than was needed for three stars. I tried aiming a little past the tip of the second orange light above the drum so I would clear the log just brushing against it, and hit the house, whacking the log and the pig as I went by with the lightsaber. Hitting the house seems to squeeze out some more damage. Bouncing off the top of log into the house also seems to work as long as you take out the trooper by the log in passing. Got three stars, which is what I was looking for, but it seems to be repeatable since I did it again after about 10 tries or so. Scores avg in the low 54k. Not spectacular but enough to three star.
Wow, just fling, reset, repeat. I’m still hundreds off the average.
