Our strategy for Angry Birds Star Wars Moon of Endor level 5-10 is to aim Han for the wooden block at the base of the lower tower. As he soars over the speeder bike, shoot downward off through the pilot. Han’s blasts can ricochet into the tower atop the level, resulting in a 1-bird clear. The score in the video below is 86,760.

I had been doing it exact opposite of the video. I was sending Han in the same way but shooting the laser to the top right where either the laser ricocheted into the ship or falling debris popped the pig on the ship.
My score was 83650. I tried the walkthrough and now I have 87340 ;-)

First real highest score for me at the moment at least. Sure there can be more damage made.. . Followed the video. Found it important that Han slices through the dangling trooper instead of cutting tne rope before hitting the wooden block. The ricochet that hit the top tower was luck. Also managed another achievment today, posted screenshot of result in my album.

I found this one easy as far as making the 1 bird shot but hard to make a decent score on. It does seem like you need to shoot earlier than it seems you should.

Like @lesleyg, I had been shooting the laser to the top right. It’s a lot easier to three star that way. However, following the video gave me more points, but it was hard – for me. I found it tough to get the lasers to ricochet to the upper structure. Finally I stopped trying to shoot immediately after leaving the sling – that did it!

I found that it’s possible to shoot off the “nose” of the speeder bike if you aim just in front of the trooper and still get a good ricochet. My current score however still had the nose on, so ever higher scores are possible

to get consistency in activation point i was using my thumb of the hand i am holding my ipad with, somewhere below the flowers in the pic (the ones just to the right of the rope). how do other people do this?

Shot just like the video and after a few tries, got it with one bird too. I find that if I put the phone down, have a couple slugs of coffee and come back to it, my aim is much better. :)

This one was a little harder for me.I was having a problem with the correct ricochet angle, then I looked at the trajectory needed to hit the bottom right block, drew a mental “L” from the top right block to the seat to the bird trajectory, and it worked.

Following @tinus I was working on fine-tuning my shot for a few extra points by shooting in front (speederbike nose side) of the “pilot” when not only did I get the correct trajectory to take out top with ricochet & have Han hit bottom right wood block, but the speederbike came apart becoming debris at the bottom for a whooping 90090 & not just another puppy, but TopScore for now. It’s less than 2 hrs into the Challenge, so GL all.

I’m on iPad not Android phone & you can see from the above pic that the trajectory I found that worked for me to get 1-birders was to have Han arc along the balcony railing. I haven’t gotten thru all of ABSW on my iPad, so I haven’t gotten the upgraded powers that are eventually rewarded & it’s been so long I don’t remember if Han’s shooting is improved with all of the others. I wouldn’t think less shooting power could be a benefit, but I do recall that Luke’s upgraded saber could be detrimental on at least 1 level.

I did get take a pic ,and the shot is lower than justpast40,s ,in truth it was not by design ,because i misses the hanging Pig ,it was just luck that some of the top collected it when falling .

Now that I’m no longer in #1, I can be a smart a** ; -), it was actually just a little over 1 hr, perhaps 11:15 that I managed that puppy score, unfortunately, my internet is so….. incredibly slow I couldn’t get the pics to upload, so by the time they loaded, I had to change my comment’s time. Now I need to focus on another few thousand … LOL points.

@justpast40 @uncle-b @comex666 Congrats to you all. Looks like I’m the odd PC user out today. Can’t get above 85k for some reason.

One thing i’m not seeing mentioned anywhere, pardon me if I missed it, where *exactly* on the speederbike are you aiming Han’s laser? All I see are “front” and “front of pig”. That’s a lot of real estate. :)

I have tried to explain my method below. I aim SE of the speeder, so that the three blasts do not hit it at the same spot. Apparently @vuelva does the same, although his aiming point is further from mine.

there are any targets you can use.
here my strategy:
in the amount of the top railing like picture
the target is the left side from horizontal stone, where the pig sits on speederbike.
shot, when Han is behind the house in background.
two laser hits the vertical stone (on top), i mean the stone in front of the horizontal stone.
the laser break the wood on top.
third laser break the left side from the bike.
han break the wood and stone on right side.
you need any shots, and make the points
i use the PC-Version

@comex666 thank you for the screenshot and tips. That’s the target I’ve been using. In your screenshot, is that laser your first shot? If so, I’ve been firing much earlier, when Han just passes in front of the roof in the background. (in your screenshot, near the third white dot behind your bird).

I’m getting all the elements, speeder split, both collapses, etc.. Guess I need to work on my timing. It doesn’t help that the speeder moving up and down means your fling timing also matters :)

i was also playing to hit the left side (yes, that’s a tiny target and a moving one at that) of the thin horizontal stone the pig is sitting on. neither the trajectory of the bird (to take the right structure down) nor the angle for shooting the lasers (to take down the top structure) leaves much room for experimentation, but there stiil is choice in which one of the lasers should hit the left side: comex666 apparently uses the third one, whereas i was using the first one, for no other reason than that it was easier to repeat for me (had also tried usung the first). i play this level fully zoomed out, sending the bird to where the railing meets the long light vertical stripe of shadow of the tree, using my thumb as described above and activating around the crack in the tree in the background.

I must admit I was watching Chicago Fire on TV while flinging birds at the time I scored the puppy so I can’t really say where those shots hit exactly. But I haven’t been using any set aiming point or trajectory for Hans anyway, firing anywhere from the front tip of the nose metal to back as far as on top of pig rider. My objective has been to process as many sequences as possible ~ I’ll immediately reset if (in order):
#1 The wooden leg of the top tower isn’t penetrated.
#2 Hans doesn’t break the leg of the right tower.
#3 Pig rider isn’t killed by initial shots or falling debris.

I rarely have the entire speederbike fall to the ground ~ most often for my higher scores just the nose will fall off and that is what happened on the puppy shot. The few times the entire speederbike did fall I was disappointed the score wasn’t that great so I’m not convinced that alone is the key to an exceptional score. I’m currently of the opinion that the amount of tower destruction is as critical to getting a good score as is the downing of the speederbike ~ perhaps more so…..

@kelani, sorry for not replying sooner, I had a dr appt that ran more than 3 hrs late (dr hit deer on way in thus AM), then daughter’s house with real high speed internet to update 31 iPad apps & lots of other running around; I’ve been home maybe 30 min & internet was out.

Here’s what is as doing. Once I got the correct trajectory for ricochet & bottom right, I started to adjust firing for more points. I honestly never expected a puppy score, despite it being my 4th or 5th, it’s been awhile.

If you visualize a diagonal line from just in front on the pilot down to the right to the end of the narrow metal piece that’s facing SW, well it’s basically what the others who answered have said, that’s how I was aiming.

I’d like to say it was skill, but it was 99% luck that I hit just the right spot & score was what it was. GL if you’re still here flinging

@justpast40 thanks for starting things off – winning a Puppy so early on is usually a good sign, as well as inspiring :)
Same path along the upper balcony rail. I started tapping below the speeder, around the end of the metal rod dropping down from the speeder, just to the right of the blue light. I just found it easier, I don’t know that it guarantees a better success rate of splitting the speeder.
As for the timing, it’s about a second after flinging, but after a while I stopped thinking about it too much & just tapped when it seemed right.

I will post pics later today, but I also went above previous highscore.

A few thoughts:
* You can get into the 89k realm even without complete speeder destruction, this happened to me once
* I failed several times to beat the Top Score because of incomplete speeder destruction. When the front part was already gone, I sent Luke to burst the central floating part with the saber, without damaging anything, and this led me to think that scores as high as 91.5k would have been possible if speeder had burst from itself without Luke’s help. There is therefore definite room for improvement with respect to the present 90090-90160 marks.

As for my strat, it is slightly different than other people. I target Han’s blast somewhere to the south east of central part of speeder. This way, the first blast hits the horizontal metal part and is reflected (if timed properly wrt Han’s trajectory) toward upper right structure, then the next blasts hit speeder a little bit more to the right (since blast focus point is behind the speeder), destroying the small vertical wooden part, which makes speeder explosion more likely. In the end I could destroy at least half of the speeder 50% of the time, and get complete destruction quite often, which finally made the lucky 90k fluke to happen quite rapidly once the procedure was well under control.

Looks like a big litter of puppies today. I just squeaked by and have no particular insights into this level. I shot just to the left of the pig in the speeder. Congrats to @comex666 !!!! I have had two in a row a couple of times, but never managed a three-peat. I could be wrong, but I don’t think it has ever been done before.

Today must be “puppy day” at the Challenge. I’ve just added my score-89850- to the list. After flinging since last night,I came back here & read all the posts again and again hoping to find what I was missing. I didn’t do anything different than that of everyone else,it just finally worked. The key to a high score seems to depend on getting as much of the upper right structure to fall to the left as possible.
