Our strategy for Angry Birds Star Wars Hoth level 3-7 is to fling Han over the AT-AT, shooting at the stone triangle supporting the hanging storm trooper in the top-right corner. The laser blasts should ricochet off a few angles and take out the storm trooper next to the TNT. With a little luck, the TNT will detonate and cause the AT-AT to fall to its knees.

I am stuck in the low 90’s. There’s only one sure fire method to clear the pigs, and that’s following the video. After countless tries, the only trick is getting the first Han high enough so you can fire a level shot aimed at the top blue box holding the pigtrooper’s head. I just fling Han at about a 45 degree angle, then wait to fire. If the shot goes right, it richoches down then strikes the plate on the bottom rock pile into the structure, making it colapse to the right. Then you hope to get lucky. If you need a second shot to clear any pigs, start over.

Yes, after a bunch of 2B. I’ll be back because I so low at score but 1B / 3*.
95750 – I can’t get the ricochets to do chet, but I’m not through trying.
99640 – I really don’t understand how I can have less damage and more points or the other way with more damage and less points.
Still after that 100K plus score.
You are certainly right about that. On most levels, after you have played them for a while you can pretty much predict what your score will be before it finishes ringing up. Not on this one. I have had shots that look like they have done enough destruction that I think it might beat my top score, only to see that they are about 6,000-7,000 less.
Seems like the video’s method is the high score method, seeing how many possible strategies there are even to this level. A few variations, such as angle of the bird, could be slightly aletered, but the concept of the video’s strategy is definitely the way to go :)
I agree that the video method works best. There doesn’t seem to be any alternative strats that work better. You just have to keep trying until you get a score you’re happy with ;-)
Employed Sal’s strategy as depicted in the video. Found that the tnt needs to be pushed to the left in order to destroy the AT-AT for higher points.
exactly @wrw01 ! the TNT is in fact the key to a high score on this level. On my score the TNT broke the back of the AT-AT because it was pushed to the left and the AT-AT was sliding down right on top of it.
Just note, shoot at the center of the metal triangle like in the video, I just make this more accurate so the laser can correctly goes :)
There are several option for 1 and 2 birds, no mayor diference anyways.
-OPTION A: Following the video you can ain directly to the AT-AT eye, release and when near target the hanging trooper… you clear most of the boxes on the AT make it go inside.
-OPTION B: (Headchopper!!!) Same as above BUT high aim for the wooden neck on the downfall. If precise even no need to fire. Both combined get full rid of the AT for the extra points.
-OPTION C: You can (try)to reverse the headchop process + get rid of the trooper between legs + TNT. (Difficult!) You can aim either over the head or below to fire to the round joint to: Chop the head; trooper out; and with EXTREMELY LUCK… blow the AT iron-base.
….
… most times I’ve left the hanging trooper shot to use a more simple tactic: Aim for the head, release and fire at the same spot… you’ll see the AT shirnk a little and almost clear all.

@tienshenlong not sure I understand your last comment, where at the head do you aim and you fire at the exact aiming spot? And it still takes the hanging trooper out? So it’s a 1 birdie? Is that how you got your score or was it one of the other strats you left? Thanks for any help you can give me. :)

@Kathy I flung like a mad woman saving her eggs from the pigs!!! I literally flung the same way for hours and to me when it stopped tallying, besides having to lift my bruised chin off the cement floor, it looked like it had every other time?!! The At At didn’t break in 2 he fell down just like some of the other times!! I just kept doing it like the video. Talk about a fickle level!! :/
O.k ty @Kimmiecv I’ve tried all tienshenlong strats, not working for me..the first one i can do but pig trooper under leg does not die!! And the others to time consuming.I’ll stick with the video and pray and cry some more:( i was hoping you had some magical answer lol:)
I tried them too @Kathy but in the end I went back to the videos tried and true way of doing it! I wish you loads of the ‘L’ factor, soon you’ll have a better score than me!! :)
I think the difference between a good shot and a bad one is measured in tenths of a pixel. At least it’s a fairly quick shot.
Patience (and luck) definitely required on this one.
As video, ricochet went through white stormtrooper and into tnt and everything went ty @AMslimfordy
Whiinnnnnneeeeeee!!! Can’t even get above average! Must have tried 100’s of times but even when a lot of debris has gone it still gives me below average scores, or starts counting up before all the debris settles.
Whine Gods have done their job straight away again!
shoot the bird down toward the small gap beneath the main rock and the ground right before it touches the ground shoot lasers towards the plates hanging on the rock to the left. if the bouncing laser beams hit the TNT box you will get 3 stars … yup … that’s the way to do it :)
