Our strategy for Angry Birds Star Wars Hoth level 3-37 is to skim Chewie across the top of the first tower, sending blocks into the hovering mynocks and bringing both structures tumbling down. It may be worthwhile to fling the second Chewie into the debris, depending on whether you think there’s 10,000 points to be had there. The score in the video below is 89,000 even.

I could only get about 4-5K extra flinging Chewie into the debris on a decent attempt, so I don’t think it’s useful to try that. If you get a good fallout you can get 92K+ here, it would be hard to get 10K worth of extras with what’s left over. On a shot without much debris destruction, it might be worthwhile though.

Just fling Chewie pretty high along that top horizontal plank (just like in the vid), and let the little square block take out the top fliers. Then pray for carnage ;-) It’s early, but that netted me the top spot for now, with a little room for improvement. 95K shouldn’t be a stretch at all with a little more luck.

It took me thousand tries to finally nail the 3*. Either 1 or both flying mynocks survived. For me, it has been the hardest level so far.

If you aim at the intersection of the little horizontal slab and the big square block you’ll get it without too many tries. Once I “got it” it was very easily repeatable.
About one in maybe 50 times Chewie goes into the right side spinning. This is definitely more destructive and gave me all my 90k plus scores. Unfortunately, I don’t know how to MAKE him do that.

Thank you @78rpm. I followed your strategy for my initial 3* of 89190 on Android phone & months later when back to work on getting above average scores in all Hoth levels have so far managed 90640. I’m hoping to continue to improve but it seems to be one of those “all or none” levels” …. either my score is in the low 80s for 2* or I beat my previous score. It doesn’t seem like I’m repeating anything close to the 89k-90k range, nor have I seen Chewie spinning; maybe I’ve not played this level long enough.

This was a very fun level to play, I just love watching the big fat furball destroying things. Just do it as the video shows and keep resetting until you’re satisfied with your score.

Finally got above average with the same exact method of the video, thank you :-)
I must say, this is one of my least favorite levels of Hoth…perhaps all of Star Wars…not because it was so called “hard” but because it’s just such a “rinse and repeat”…it almost reminded me of the first levels in AB Original…you just shoot at the correct spot and repeat until you get an above average score you can live with…Oh well…moving on!
P.S. I’m actually suprised the average score is as high as it is, it seems my average scores were more around the 88K mark…

As always in those levels, it may be the L-factor.
A 100 flings, a hundred different scores.
My best actually was the third try, after this, no relevant score.
But thats the game and you may olay around those levels.
Whats the lowest score, whats your highest 2-birder and so on.

@Admins, can we get verification on the TopScore of 93280 & #2 of 92890? I really hate this, however, I asked the TopScore holder last night & even though the member has since been online, there’s no response. Both scores are just disproportionate to their other scores/rankings.

@justpast40, I reported r3d3vil23 and three others back in March to @amslimfordy and @birdleader for some questionable scoring throughout ABSW. I even sent an excel comparison of all their posted scores. One of the other’s scores were deleted. This is not the only level which these four had posted what in my inexperienced opinion were unattainable using acceptable methods.

I got in excess of 90k twice out of all my attempts thus far. It doesn’t seem that 92k is in any danger of being hit by me. The way Chewie hits the bottom section(through the angled and vertical blue sections), breaks his speed and angle a lot, which makes proper destruction of the bottom right past more difficult. If I try shooting Chewy to be flung over the blue and straight into the bottom right, the destruction of bottom part is great, but unfortunately that also means that one or both of the top mynocks got missed.

Oh well, 91.5k is decent enough in any event, so no worries.

@stocktoad, I was just about to post the same thing. My score is only 92080 with the reduced power shot & if the Admins are able to determine whether or not the top 2 scores I noted above are legit or not, maybe there’s a puppy or two here.

@Stocktoad Don’t you see what’s happening here? You’ve drunk @rat9 ‘s low-power kool-aid, and let him get into your mind. Sure, you’ve had a few successes with it the last few days, but that’s how they reel you in. Careful, man. You’re only a few challenges away from wearing mouse ears. :)

I agree it’s a good strategy here. For me, the reduced-power shot usually punts the square block into the second mynock, missing the first, but if something can hit him, good score potential there. Plus, Chewie seems to land in the debris in a better spot.

@mumsie42 I got noticed by the sheriff knocking at my door, I got this score last sunday on challenge day and wasn´t aware the original topscore of 93280 was deleted. So I guess I earned my 6th puppy on here :) New topscore of 103k has been flagged.

For me, it’s level DZ-28 that was for long my nemesis. But if you target good scores (top 100), any level can become so (at the moment, I am unable to get top 100 both for levels 9 and 10). So, yes, good luck to you, you and your sanity will need it.
