Angry Birds Star Wars Death Star Level 2-6 Walkthrough

Our strategy for Angry Birds Star Wars Death Star level 2-6 is to fire Obi-Wan through the horizontal plank on the northern planet. After he breaks through, use the Force to redirect blocks back southward. With a bit of luck, the bubbled storm troopers will pop and the ice plank on the southern planet will give way as well.

As per video – I found that you need to trigger the Force symmetrically and from outside the gravity of the upper planet otherwise too much debris remains up north. Triggering from directly over the central Storm-Piggie worked for me…

@bikkit — I must respectfully disagree with the symmetric activation. Finally got above average (63420) following more closely the video above and @Yuriyigolkin‘s video. The problem is definitely not symmetric, because Obi Wan comes in from the left and destroys the left light, plank, and pig before activated. What worked best for me was to activate just left of center. Also, it seemed that activating within gravity field gave the blocks more oomph (momentum), so you were more likely to break planks protecting bottom pigs. As noted below, triggering too early causes all the blocks to go to the right.

i’d been using the above method for many times but those blocks just kept going eastward no matter how and where i trigger it ……

is it possible to get 3 stars by 2 birds?? now my highest for this level is 57,440 …. please help, many thanks.

I tend not to think so. If you watch the score carefully, you’ll find that in flinging the second bird, you get less than the 10k points that you would have otherwise received as bonus points. Thus, flinging more than one bird causes your overall score to lose points, thus not quite reaching the three star threshold.

Grrr! I think my best hope for above average on this one is that more people with below average scores post their scores. So how about it folks? This counts officially as a whine; so that’s my other hope for improving. Incidentally, @Yuriyigolkin has a video that helped me get to 62000, where I am now stuck.

Hey guys! I knew I shouldn’t have looked at my Death Star Leaderboard today, but you’ve got the wrong idea! I was hoping that lots of people with BELOW average scores would post, so the average would go down. Instead it has gone up on this as well as others, and I’m now below on 3 levels! : (((

@mvnla2 ty for pointing me in the direction of @yuriyigolkin video, seems to be the way to go here, trouble is i still haven’t got Obi wan perfected..did you have Obi on this level after he got stronger force? I can take all the pigs out except the one big pig in the left side bubble..very frustrating..
Consider this half a whine..lol

It seems I have an edition with unusually strong gravity; even when I follow the video, the blocks are drawn towards their planet. It is really a question of firing at exactly the right nanonanonanosecond?

I guess I got “Lucky”…I hadn’t watched the video yet…three tries in, I just sent Obi at the left side to the flashing red light…just after he made contact, I tapped the south most little cement square at the top section and swiped it out to drag down slightly to the left and all the cement blocks went crashing down to the bottom piggies while three of them scattered perfectly to get the three central trooper bubble pigs. Yippie!!!

This is pretty much the strategy I used for 64010 on my Android phone. While it varied slightly, it’s so close I think
@lesleyg deserves the thanks & I think the slight differences are our devices.

Rather than to the left of the flashing lights, I was a pixel or so right of that…more like thru the light. As far as the tapping, I tapped in almost the same area but definitely didn’t swipe or drag down, I just tapped. As far as where I tapped, if I am to use the bowling pin analogy by @oppugno11, I tapped between 1 and 2 & watched as it all fell into place.

Good hints, I was stuck at 62.7k for quite a while. I used this southern most block with a swipe tip, only difference was to let it penetrate the wood plank.

Strategy I used to break through the 64K barrier was to target wooden triangle under the top stack of small square stone blocks (if the 10 small blocks were bowling pins – aim would be between #4 & #7 pins). Direct the force toward the Southen planet (roughly centered) just as Obi-wan crushes in on wooden triangular block. While harder to 1-birdie with this trajectory (since there are fewer projectiles flying South), I found it yeilds higher score when do.

thanks for the good strat.
the target is to break the metal-triangle. aim between the PINS 4 and 7
the timing to activate is important, direction is the center to south and with luck you hit all pigs.

Thanks for the video and pointers @comex666! I was able to finally get that one bird hit for nearly nearly 2k improvement (up to just over 64k). The highest 2 birder I got was just over 62k. Congrats on your next new puppy.

@comex666 thanks for the great video & congrats on your latest pup.
I’ve been one pigtrooper away from a puppy several times, there is always one of them in the small bubbles that doesn’t get hit by anything.
I think it’s about the timing of when you activate the force, right after Obi destroys the wooden triangle. He has to destroy it, not damage it, so he moves a bit under the metal plank the small blocks sit on.
Also, it seems I score better when the right half of that metal plank gets blown out of the gravity sphere, before falling back in & getting destroyed – you can see this in comex’s vid. If it is destroyed immediately by the activation of the force the small blocks tend to get blasted straight down instead of spreading out as they move.
This is a bit of a frustrating level so I’m happy to improve.

I’m right there with ya @karen68 ~ I took a screenshot of what would have been a score of 66,660 except for that darn far lower stormtrooper sitting there grinning at me! But it does give one hope to keep on tossing, and I wish you and all of our Fellow Flingers the Best of Luck in winning a Puppy today!

My thanks to @oppugno11 for the detailed strategy and @comex666 for the video. This is how I aimed on iPad: there are three stars between the left planet and the margin of the atmosphere. I aimed through the lowest of these stars. Then the same as described by others: as soon as the wooden triangle is destroyed I tapped the bubble below. Here we go again! Seems all my Obi wants to do is get close and personal with the bacon bit on the bottom, not to kill it but to cuddle like a long lost friend :( Does anyone know when Obi gets stronger or is that a myth? I’m pretty sure I saw some chatter about him gaining strength?

Sorry to say it – but I did put in a score from another track of mistake.
I where going to put it away but could not manage to do it.
I did the track 2-26 or something likely and that was the wrong track I did see later – again sorry.
Is there a way to take away a wrong submitted score? – I did not find that…..
