Our strategy for Angry Birds Star Wars Death Star level 2-38 is possible to accomplish with one…Chewy. Toss him above the first planet sending him below the second planet, igniting the TNT and causing a chain reaction. If it doesn’t get them all use Obi-Wan to clear it up.

New Event – Novastar
I’m so happy. Not so mach try and 2nd at 71.250 (Chewy miss one point but TNT happily – not). Repeted with 68.990.
It’s could be replayed. With missing one TNT again (right planet, 4 o’clock)69.610
Man…I wanted so badly to 1-Bird this like on the video, but it just wouldn’t do it, Chewy hits everywhere except where I need him to. I guess I’ll have to return to this one also.
Well. I hung in there for three more tries(after about 40) and finally got the bounces like the video shows for 68000. But I’ll come back for this one too.
It’s all about practice, after all. However, what’s got me thinking about this level is the disparity between the three star threshold and the average score. It’ll require LOTS of practice, or a run of luck to get there.
Note to @fujitoast: you’ll want to change your strat verbiage above for this level, (DS 2-38), as it doesn’t match the video.
This is a first for me. Shot a 1-bird score just like the video for 67,370 points. Went to improve on it and shot my best shot so far. Cleared everything but the TNT at the 3 o’clock position on the right sphere. The game never ended. It just sat there. So I tried it again, and when I cleared it, nothing happened. It’s as if here was an undamaged pig off screen. I’m not sure what to do except exit the level but I sure would have liked to have the score from that earlier shot I described.
Anyone else experience this?
@ohforfive I haven’t experienced that but I have noticed that there’s a large time lapse before the level clears out sometimes, the only thing I can think is happening is the oink thingy goes to one of the planets and it seems to take a while for it to finally crash and burn, maybe if it didn’t hit the atmosphere of the planet it enters hard enough it just floats around never crashing into the little planets centre?
Thanks for the great video @fujitoast!!! :)
I wanted to see if I could duplicate the event but I was unsuccessful. I did manage to increase my score by 3050 points to 70420.
Thanks for the encouragement!
WTH @ohforfive!!! I’m glad to see you whooped piggie butt!! :D this isn’t an easy level IMO!
@ohforfive, it just happened to me on this level. One of the fighters got a small bump, just enough to send it off screen, where it never detonated. That is probably what happened to you too.
I got 71620. Just follow this strat but fling him just below full strength. All tnt exploded and, as far as I can tell, almost maximum destruction. When chewy bounced off the tie fighter, he didn’t hit the trooper on the planet. He bounced over him and hit the tnt on the right side which caused a chain reaction that got everything else. Good luck.
68880 using 1 bird strat. Missed one of the TNT though.
Coming back to clean this one up with new Super Chewie, May be harder than the original, as I am having to finesse launch speed to get a similar trajectory to walkthrough.
I have exactly 70,000. Used the original Chewie instead of the one you get after clearing level 3-20.
Sames as video, second shot did it.
I was having trouble getting Chewy in the right place, so I shot him into the disk on the North side of the first planet, which bounced and got some of the TNT and everything but two fighters. For the second shot, I shot Obi-Wan into one of the disks attached to a fighter and the bounce got the second fighter. 74K points with two birds.
71130 after holding 2nd bird to get max points
Just like video a few tries about an hour or so 3P’s came to play:) thanks @FujiToast :)
I was quite disappointed by my 1-birder (the only one so far), of 68070 which followed the video, as I had a 2-birder of 68740. I’m asking the top three scores, @mahgnibeihcir, @oppugno11 & @ladyleo82 for your help/input.
What did you do to get such good scores?
How little was left?
What did you do differently?
@floppymuffin, we have played this level for well over a year now, where did you find the extra 15,000 points to achieve a score so much higher than anyone else. the structure of this level does not really support being able to have complete destruction.
@admins
Thanks @wicket182 Very fishy indeed (88,880)
Score has been deleted until, and if we get an explanation.
I got a top 10 score aiming very slightly below the posted video above, so that the top left fighter is pushed by a block, rather than by bouncing Chewy.
My shot looked like this video, and the fighters all fell in the same order:

…except I didn’t have anything left at the end but a few small blocks.
