Our strategy for Angry Birds Star Wars Death Star level 2-36 is to send the two Chewys around the top of the first gravity field and into the bottom platforms, taking out as much as possible Then throw Obi-Wan just below the astroids on the right and push them up so that the fall into the gravity field and kill the reaming pigs.

New Event – Cyclonus
If you take some pace of chewy so he turn before hitting sphere u can repeatable do it with 2 birds ,very close to 1 bird a few times. it’s the same shot , just change pace and use the dots for direction. good luck

Excellent strategy @xebic88 ! Thanks – I used a combo of your first shot and then the ricochet suggested by @playdbird for the second shot. And there is definitely a one bird possibility here. Several times had only that first left pig (bruised but smirking) left.
Likewise, and going very close to the planetoid, like VereWolf69 suggested.
Excellent strat – thanks @xebic88
Yes,@xebic88 your method got me a 1-birder. There were three platforms with debris remaining. Many more points to be attained.
congrats on the the shot @odie this level has laughed at my 1 bird attempts ,and there where many :) ,it is good to know it can be done,i might have another bash at it while its confidence and defences have taken a blow ,..thanks for letting me know …happy hunting and may your next one take out a platform or 2 as well
Thanks for the video @ xebic88 :) i almost had a one birdie bounced off planet only 2 bottom piggies left but no way to get them both with one chewie lol hard to call chewie a birdie haha:)
@xebic88 Thanks for posting this strategy, was having a terrible time trying to just get an average score. After watching your video I finally got above that!!!!!
I must really be getting the hang of ABSW as on my 2nd attempt, without even having to peek here first, I managed a decent 3* of 90950. I’d started by bouncing Chewie off the lower planet into the asteroids & only had 1 stack left. The next shot was a no brainer & I was so very pleasantly surprised to find out it was a decent ranking since I’d figured it out all own my own. “All on my own,” is something I’ve very rarely been able to do for 3*, let alone above average, with the 76 ABSW levels I’ve completed so far. Were it not for ABN, I’d be lost.
Once I came here & saw much higher scores are possible, some with just 1 bird, I experimented with shots similar to @xebic88 & @philip. Lots & lots of patience is required when trying aim accurately at the same time you are tying to slow this shot down to a snail’s pace & it’s pretty darn difficult on an Android phone. I imagine that this is one of those levels where using a mouse on a PC could definitely be a plus. While difficult, it’s not impossible & I managed 96120 with 2 birds by aiming just inside the gravitational field as shown on xebic88’s video. There wasn’t much remaining on the right, but I hadn’t practiced a shot thru this same gravitational field to get the right side, so I reverted to my initial/gut instinct to bounce off the Death Star. BTW, contrary to what one might think, I was zoomed all the way out. For me, when zoomed in, even though the gravitational field was larger/closer, I had less success controlling this 1st shot.
Now if I could just figure out how to get an above average on 2-5 & improve several other Death Star.
93540/2
thx to @justpast40 to bounce the lower planet
here my video:

89950 on first try with your strat…thanks
Your strat resulted in a 95k 1-birder on the first try. Just had to log some external validation for ya.
Thanks for the video @xebic88, finally got a 1-birdie :)
@xebic88 , thanks, seems easier than the video.
You’ll drive yourself crazy trying to replicate the video strategy. Going around the opposite side of the planet and barely grazing the gravitational field is quite a bit easier, IMO. You still have to be quite precise, but there isn’t as much luck involved, and it’s easier to finish with two birds.
I did it with 2 birds by firing second one immedeately after first. Same path, above small planet. First one knocked upper towers, and second was a ricochet from first into lower towers!!!
Only thing that was left on screen were leftmost platformwith a sphere and a rectangle.
As an alternative, you can try bouncing Chewie off the Death Star at the bottom and into the stones – it can cause quite a bit of destruction to the right hand side, and you can finish off the left with the first shot from the ABN video.
I got 90,140 on my first try and this was the obvious method I used too.
Bounce the 1st Chewy into the asteroids, then 2nd one into the tall tower. 1 Asteroid remained.
Works the other ways too. Also if the first shot is like the video, but a little lower so it takes out the other two towers too.
Was going to post alternative but @PlayDBird beat me to it. All that was left on screen after two shots was one boulder. Think there is potential for one birder here though with first method (as @xebic88 states).
I 2-Birded this one, but I went in real close to the Planetoid with both Chewies.
I used Chewie the same way the first time. But for the second I bounced him off the bottom planet and into the rocks. These were pushed into the atmosphere and then I got three stars!
It can be done with just the two Chewies. Position them simalarily to the video. Gotta get it just right. It can be done.
Did it with only the first two Chewies. Throw first one at bottom planet so that he bounces into the floating asteroids. Throw second one around top of smaller gravity well. Took some fine tuning, but it worked eventually for >86000 points.
By sending Chewey against the planet behind the boulders he bounces into the boulders and takes out most of the pigs. The next chewy goes around the planet and takes out the rest. Score 91,750
Nice strategy Ross!
Very nice indeed, thanks for sharing Ross!! :)
Propably by xebic88 way I was siting at 86K+. I made some iprovement with 2B. I use to bounce Chewy at Ball-Ship? inside main planet gravitation pole. By this he cleared left side. 2nd one did the rest. For clearing ALL staff (without boulders) I take 90.630.
After some readings I use for second shoot bouncing Chewy at low Ball-Ship wchich redirect him into the rocks. Three of them goes down. At the moment I rised to 91.690.
By the way. There is VERY tiny possibliity to send Chewy directly at group of 5 boulders but it’s horrible to adjust with finger. Aiming line dancing to much because of small planetoid gravity.
1 birded it after over 50 attempts: the trick is to send Chewie very slowly towards the point where the two gravity points meet, left of the small planet. As a guide line, thee speed indicator should not recah very far into the gravity fields, Chewie sails around the small planet.. What a sight.
Thanks for the tip @philip I’ve come close, but can never come close to that first pig on the left. How did you get that one? Thanks.
As Obi-Wan says – don’t think about doing it, just feel doing it :-) I only did it once and think that everything just fell into place. My guideine above is all that I can remember about it (except that my partner was nagging in the background to get the steaks into the pan and my response was “Just one more try”…….)
Thanks for all the good strategies, first sent Chewie around small planet, second Chewie bounced into the boulders, raised my score about 12k.
First slow at the left conjunction point of the gravity fields second pretty fast, close to the centero the smaller gravity field.if
My score –>89,150
Strategy : I sent chewie bird (both) through the gravitational field of the small one upwards and downwards aiming at the central pods and completed with two birds remaining.(i am using pc version)
