Our strategy for Angry Birds Star Wars Death Star level 2-30 is fairly straight forward but does require a little luck. Toss both of the first two Obi-Wans into the piles and push the debris onto the pigs on the right. Start with the top pile and then move to the bottom.

I did it exactly as on video before viewing the video, and a 1-Birder seems a possibility so I’ll tinker with it for a while.

Same here. I almost got 1-birder, except that the pig below the turret is protected by the hovering saucer or some sort.

The lower middle pile can also be a good starting point. Be careful not to Force push debris into the upper left platform. Even if you do, you may be able to salvage the level with the lower left pile, as I did when I got 71k and 3-stars. :D

One key to this level is to push metal blocks in front of the laser cannon and let that do some damage before it destroys itself.

Agreed, nearly got a 1-bird this way (only the little pig on the wall left), and destroyed nearly everything. But… I had nothing left to hit wall-pig with!

Thanks for the tips everyone. I spent a lot of time starting with the top pile, but the bottom pile works well, especially if you can get a couple laser bounces.

I ALMOST killed them all by striking the second pile to the left on the ground upwards… still trying to see if I can kill them all with the one pile…

Aimed for the big lower pile and actually got a one-birder, but only for 73850. Got a little unlucky in the top pile didn’t budge. Now trying to get above average.

I managed to 1-bird and get 73640 by aiming for the gap between the two metal pieces on the upper pile. Just before you hit it, tap your force aim at the top of the metal bars on the right to aim the force push. With a little luck them wham bam.

The point spread on this level is very wide..wish we could hear from som of the high scorers

After quite a number of attempts I was lucky today – I did exactly what the instructions say and got a 1-birder! 755xx points. :D

@cheery great shooting:) you didn’t post your score, but as Kimmiecv says above sometime 2 birds get more points, depending on amount of debris you destroy:)

I don’t think there is much real strategy here other than pick a pile, try to shove it in a general direction and hope the debris takes out lots of stuff as it falls. Repeat. Reset & repeat until you get the score you want, or you just can’t stand it any more.

I still think its pretty random, but it seemed to help when I started with the lower right pile and timed the shove into the lasers as they fired. Finish the rest with the top pile.

I improve here +600#. If I well remember it was 2B. I tryed 1st shot from up and down pile. Once with 2nd shot I push debris to the R, laser went down, hits metal part and returned up! This shot cut lasers base and this one behind and makes some extra disaster at the wall. I know so it will be rather hard to replay but 1B is still open for me.

I used a different strat, however I’m not sure about it…It works great sometimes while others…not so much, lol ;-) But I guess that’s AB’s for ya ;-D
I sent Obi at the biggest glass square piece at the bottom small left pile. Just as he makes contact, I put his force straight up, in between or slightly right of the two “discs” above so that it will all fall down and make one nice big pile! How many pigs you get on this shot varies. I’ve had 28K – 34K+ after this first shot and some laser action. I ended up with decent scores even when only taking out a pig or two because you can clean up with the second Obi.
Then second Obi to the bottom of the “new” pile and as he digs in, I put his force up and right to take out remaining pigs.

I have also tried the walkthrough which is awesome but for whatever reason, my scores were lower.

I also had several one birdies with the walkthrough(73K+ max) but as others have mentioned two birds seem to score higher.

Another HAH (Hit and Hope) ABSW level.

After a few hours on & off of following video, switching to bottom 1st & then back to the video (top first) I got VERY VERY lucky with a 1-birder to bottom for 79900 on Android phone.

I found that best activation point for me is when I tapped on the right side of the glass “cube” which is seated almost in the middle of the bottom “pile.” As you know, determining the exact tapping spot on an Android phone is sometimes difficult, however, I’d found that generally, tapping the upper right quarter of this glass “cube” abutting the wood-glass-metal square (which is to the right & above,) gave me higher points with previous 2-birders than anywhere else when starting on the bottom.

I really don’t think I did anything differently, but certainly my aim or tap may have been slightly different. It would be nice if in ABSW the screenshot also showed the actual tap point the way it does in ABO & ABS when boosting the yellow bird.

I firmly believe that different platforms & devices achieve slightly different results when aiming at what appears to be the same spot. It really doesn’t make sense that out of the 3 posted strategies with higher scores it seems they were all 2-birders with different devices, @kathy (80920), @kimmiecv (82100) & @abcrazy (81640), yet my 1-birder isn’t all that far behind.

Hey @justpast40 i believe your on the money with the different device theory.:) i am on Android s well..good luck with one birder…:) nice run you got going:) these are all HAH levels especially POTJ..it just a matter of how long you feel like shooting the same shot over and over..i noticed the cycles of scoring..same debris at different times..different scores..if that made one bit of sense lol..its late..I’m half sleep but gotta finish One more level;) lol..then another and another..haha..

@kathy thanks, I’ve gotten very luck on these last few levels. Too bad I still can’t figure out an above average on 2-5 or improve on 2-3. Are you playing on Android phone or tablet? I’m seeing so many comments reference POTJ that I don’t if I should fear or look forward to playing. I still have Hoth & Cloud City to struggle with my ABD (Angry Birds Addiction/Addict) before POTJ.

@justpast40 i am using Android phone Samsung galaxy 2..your score is Great..most of these levels i like i said above out seems like they go in cycles..sometimes good score.then low..i keep flinging after i get a high score it seems to stay on high cycle..then once i get low again i move on..good luck:)

I play on my smart phone. No matter how hard I try, must be 1000 by now, my pile doesn’t “explode”. I’m going to try the laptop to see if it’s any better. How do you get it to explode?

I’ve used three guidelines for the first bird:
1) Release just before the shots hit the ground
2) Use his force just after he hits the bottom left suspended block
3) Aim the force somewhere above the gun, not too far to the left or right of it.

Hopefully after that there is a lot of destruction, and the gun is still going (although I once got a #19 high score without the gun going at that point). Then I aim the second Obi Wan close to the bottom of the big pile, right at the top right of the big square block, and release him just as the gun starts shooting.

I don’t remember anything in particular that I did when I got the high score. For most of the game it appeared to be just another game. Then one of the large metal blocks landed at an angle right under the gun, on top of ANOTHER angled block. The result send four shots arraying out to the right at four different angles. One destroyed the gun, and the other three did significant damage to different parts of the wall. It’s important to do a lot of damage to the wall on the right.

Note – I know there are only three shots at a time. The last shot was obviously the one that destroyed the gun, but since it had a shorter distance to travel than those ones that went to the wall, it felt like four shots were hitting their targets at once.
