Our strategy for Angry Birds Star Wars Death Star level 2-15 is to send the Blue-Fighters high above the blaster cannons. Split midway so that the birds ricochet on the blaster shots, send them crashing on the tnt box.

I aimed right below top cannon, split midway, one ricocheted with lazers into middle pig, others hit the detonator on ground.

Aim about two thirds up of the distance from the middle cannon to the upper cannon. Time your shot so that the last of the three blaster shots from the middle cannon is just under the upper cannon when you release. Split just when the bird is under the left edge of the upper cannon.

Very consistent 67-69k scores.

Thank heavens for you! I had started to think this would be the board that made me quit playing. It’s a great technique!
Now a risky topic: Is it just me or do a lot of these Star Wars boards seem to rely on more luck and dogged perseverance than other AB games? Maybe it’s sacrilege to say this, but I haven’t been as impressed with the Star Wars version as with other versions. . Anyone? Anyone?

@NTT – Think about it this way. You spent the last two levels trying to avoid the laser blasts and those were tough. You’re spending this episode trying to HIT the laser blasts. Both are equally hard but doable. Inventive dang Finnish people!
When it gets too frustrating I just put that level down for a while and usually when I come back I get it in a few shots (or not).

Exactly what laser blasts are you trying to hit? the middle cannon’s or the lower cannons? Because with this strat i miss the middle ones every time.

@Kem – That’s the thing. On this one it’s either one. People have gotten “good” scores going over the top or the middle cannons. I’m not real sure why this one is SO hard to time but it sure is. I got ok scores with both. On the middle one I was zoomed in and shot when the last laser blast just went off the screen. Good luck!

I think it involves use of the Force…

I thought I was aiming lower than this, but the release is just under the left corner of upper cannon & is a 1-birder for 69460 on Android phone. I know when I’m having trouble a pic can make all the difference in the world for me. Hope this screenshot helps someone: http://angrybir.de/16OsNrI

Also aimed right above the top blaster and hit it almost immediately after trying to fly high over the top blaster.

just aim for the middle cannon and split your bird before the blasters hit you. it’s easier.

why is there a blue medal on level.. its on the screen that you choose which board to play..there are some on the tatooine levels too..1, 2, 3 ?

After trying the video way, with no success, and trying many of the tips, with no success (And losing my patience), tried my own.
Aimed just above the top turret (Aprox. where the wall texture meets the ceiling texture). Released just as the third laser bolt leaves the turret cannon. Split just as the birdy is above the actual cannons (not the base of the turret, but the cannon itself that sticks out). This gave me the 3* in one bird with 69300.

Time it carefully. Think of it as a 4-beat, starting with the first laser blast. 1-2-3-4. Let the birds go on the third beat at the angle in the video. 69,901.

I pointed Luke so he would land at the base of the stem of the top gun. I released him during the second of the three shots, which scheduled him to land right when the guns would start firing a new round.

Luke destroyed the top gun at the same time that that gun propelled all three Lukes over to the wall on the right. One went into the top section and blew up the TNT. The other two went into the middle section, where the bottom gun began ricocheting them until one popped in the air. During the next round of shots the bottom gun sent that Luke down into the bottom section, destroying everything down there.

I aimed a little above the top turret and released about when the second shot left the gun. You need to split over the turret so that the turret is destroyed (worth 2,000 points) AND one of the birdlets gets carried along with one of the shots from the TOP turret to the top pig. Then you need to get lucky with the middle and bottom. This looks very similar to how I have been playing this level too :-)

I have been aiming just very slightly above the “ears” of the top blaster machine or I guess it’s called a turret…and I fire the blues about when the last blaster of the top set has just about cleared the screen…but I have had similar results firing blues about when the top blaster makes contact with the top right section too…I split them as soon as they make contact with the “ear” which destroys the top turret while still sending all three birdlets to the right.

I have had dozens of mid and high 171K scores and one 72270 so far :-) It’s pretty repeatable, not good enough for a puppy just yet but definitely repeatable for 171K – 172K score improvements :-) Here is my screenshot:

Yup, looks like we are doing it about the same @lesleyg . When I posted the picture it didn’t dawn on me that I had missed the top turret on that try. Got to have that 2K for the top turret.

Pretty much the same shot (thanks for the video @comex666 !) with one wooden block left. Amazingly this happened within a few tries. After having no luck during last months’ Challenges this was a sort of compensation I guess.
