Angry Birds Star Wars Cloud City Level 4-38 Walkthrough

Our strategy for Angry Birds Star Wars Cloud City level 4-38 is to send Leia into the fan, using her tractor beam to pull at the tower on the right side of the level. Leia herself should take out the left floating platform. Repeat the shot, but this time Leia should reach the other platform. During her flight, pull at the stone weight attached to the fan to clear the remaining pigs. The score in the video below is 103,110.

Just did this slightly differently. The reverse of video really. Threw Leia low into the fan and just as she is lifting up in the stream aim beam to lower two blocks on right most tower. She should just skim under top platform and thump into the top right platform,dropping debris onto the falling right tower. Sometimes it’ll catch that lower middle floating platform but that doesn’t matter you’ll get it with the 2nd throw. 2nd Leia a little higher into the air stream as in first bird in the vid,she crashes into the top platform and directs beam down onto bottom two blocks supporting the fan. 106,180

@jlz-666 This is a really good approach, and your description of the two shots is perfect. I did find that I got a higher score when debris from the right tower on the first shot caused the lower middle floating platform to drop off the bottom of the screen, and it was even better if it took out the pig on the bottom left floating platform too. Thanks!

I used a fairly different strategy for 106k:

Launch Leia 1 as in video but direct the beam at the second pig from the left as you have passed the fan. This will cause the fan to tilt right (and pop the pig below it). Second Leia low, into the stream of the now tilted fan. Direct beam at the top right platform. Leia will continue on and break the support of the right structure, which will fall left and break the two lower platforms. It sounds tricky but is actually pretty repeatable as long as you get the fan to tilt right with the first shot.

Used the video strategy to fine-tune for my Android phone & with painfully small increases managed to eventually score 109260.

Once again @rubeeinthesky, my CRS is alive & well. I’ve just tried to get thru the level & I’m not successful. My archaic internet is so incredibly slow (the fastest 4G LTE, yeah right) so I can’t even watch the video. From what I wrote it would seem like I watched the video & had to adjust my aim to even get the 109k. Your score is actually a little better than mine, so perhaps I should be seeking your advice …. LOL

2nd shot exactly same as the video

1st shot start like the video , but aim the beam a little higher at the square solid metal block
sometimes it will generate 4 to 5 beams
ideally all 3 lower platforms are fully destroyed
I have my best score when 1st shot got 70650

@tare-wa Thanks for the suggestion. I found the other two methods on my own, but your refinement allowed me to add another 1000+ points to my score. Now if I could only get over 70k on that first shot . . .

I have got about 6 times over 70k on 1st shot
but half of them 2nd shot got less destruction as normal

@tare-wa I got my score up another 1000 or so, but I still haven’t cracked the 70k barrier on the first shot. Very close this last time, though, and any time I’m in the top 10 (for now) is great with me.

111180 try:

1st shot: Slighty different approach compared to the video – I aimed Leia much higher in the steam (about 2/3 of steam fountain height), so she hits the “x” metal block above platform one. Advantage: Leia goes down with the platform and possibly does some destruction to the platform below, too. The beam was aimed at the bottom of the right hand tower, as late as possible, so that it misses the platform left of the tower as close as possible. It grabbed a lot of the tower, all platforms were destructed but the bottom left one (which was damaged though), all of the tower was destructed but one square block (which was damaged though). Score after 1st bird was in the low 69k area, I don’t remember the exact figure.

2nd shot: Just like in the video, I just released the beam a little earlier. The earlier release made the trooper in the metal frame rise at a steeper angle, so it could drop on what was left of the left bottom platfrom and destroy it.

SMALL ELABORATION ON SHOT 1: The beam wasn’t actually aimed at the bottom of the tower, but rather at the lowest metal plank / bottom of 2 2nd square. Still as late as possible. Only the flying tower elements can make the platform left of it collaps. The strategy seems quite repeatable, had 110.280 about 8 tries after the 111.180.

Almost three-starred this with the first bird but I was left with one little piggy on the bottom out of his box, so about seven more tries using the video strategy to get three stars, hundred K going onto the next one.
