Angry Birds Star Wars Cloud City Level 4-23 Walkthrough

Our strategy for Angry Birds Star Wars Cloud City level 4-23 is to launch Lando into the horizontal wooden block of the left structure. Wait until the fan reaches its middle position moving right-to-left before flinging Lando. Once you break through the base of the tower, fire the blaster just above the bottom pig on the right side. The timing should be sufficient to send debris into the TNT above. The score in the video below is 73,830.

A bit easier as in the video. Send lando the same way as in the video when the fan reach the left side and shot to the top that the right laser cut the chain. The TNT will come down and fly to the right tower to clear everything.

Fling Lando and wait until he reaches the right side corner of the upper chains and shoot the laser at the right corner of the chain and watch as each TNT goes to either side of the tower.

On my own – 70K+, next improve with forum to 71K+. I pass it similar way to @iammighty but after reading all posts and some more attempts I made some improvements (74,7K):

1. Fly Lando high arc.
2. Start litle after the double fan goes to the right
3. Shoot upwards when lando pass TNT.
3a. OR after normal pass and beeing familiar with lvl – shoot diagonally when Lando is below TNT aiming to the 2 chains connections. Bonus – completly cut R chain.
4. One TNT destroying L side, next L side. Be patient here.

It’s not the fastest manner but repetable. I cannot take it another way(s).

I aimed over the first structure and blasted it from behind as Lando passed. Lando will get caught in the stream and break the chain. Best scores if one TNT goes to the left and one to the right.

@f91jsw — Thanks, worked for me. A couple of details that worked for me. On iPad, fully zoomed in, there is a white dot below the vertical pink? bar on the launch platform. Pull Lando down so your stylus (finger) is just a little below and right of this dot. Release when fan is all the way to right; before is better than after. Shoot back at left platform when Lando close to bottom of flight path; aim for lower left pig. Rinse and repeat.

As I was just trying to follow the video, one of the blast got reflected on the fan, bounced up and cut the chain. The TNTs. Destroyed evrything left. I am not sure I can duplicate, thou.

Arrrrgh! Can’t get above 72,400. Guess ill have to come back later as nothing is working to get a higher score. Got 72,400 by waiting until the fan was heading back to the right; shot Lando over the first structure and aimed behind me hitting the first structure on the middle horizontal board. Shots ricocheted – one went through the chain and dropped the TNT which hit both towers. GL

My 79200 came along pretty much with the same strategy. I’m going to elaborate a little more, gotta admit there was a ton of luck involved though (2nd best score was 74590):

1) Lob: I shoot asap after the level starts, this usually gives the bird the right fan position to drop far enough between the left tower and the fan. I aim right at the center of the cable slope hanging from the “ceiling” which is closest to the bird (fully zoomed in, iPhone 5). Center means that ma trajectory pretty much cuts in half the light blue area surrounded by the cable.

2) Lasers: I wait for Lando to drop until he’s on the same level as the lowest small square metal block in the left tower (the one right above the lowest horizontal wooden plank). Then I aim directly at this block. The lowest laser should kill the left pig and make the left tower collapse, the other two have a good chance of ricocheting back and forth between the towers. Lando is thrown upwards, cuts the chain, releases the TNTs. From this point, it was all …

3) Luck: The TNTs usually tend to go rightwards due to the timing of Lando’s release. One of them was just touched slightly by the breeze, touched the remaing right tower somewhere in the middle, then dropped to the floor, exploded and threw the complete set of right tower parts upwards, destroying the ones close to the floor. The flying tower parts crossed the route of TNT 2, which had been redirected top right by the fan, then hit the wall in the top right area without exploding, then dropped. The tower pieces made it explode, it destroyed almost all of them. However, one horizontal metal plank was still part intact, was redirected far left by the explosion, and landed just on the ruins of the left tower, destroying most parts of what had been left of it …

Thank you @kathy and @nwreader! It took me a while to figure a good lob point for my iPad, but I finally got it. For too long I was sending the bird too far. Then it finally dawned on me to tighten up the lob so the bird came down straight into the middle of the steam. Presto! Thanks again!

@kathy thank you for the strat & @nwreader thank you for the wonderful detail, all your points were spot-on. I got a few lucky ricochets to help destroy the left tower & to take out the top hanging pig, then both TNTs hit the right tower, although a few seconds apart. The 1st one hit about half way down followed by the 2nd one at the base of what was left.

Been following @nwreader strat for today’s challenge and it seems really promising. Several near misses so far, but all stymied by “premature calculation”. Each time, after great explosions from the TNTs, almost all remaining debris is thrown into the air, but the level times out instantly when the last pig is gone, leaving a lot of potential points literally in mid-air! And those TNTs have a mind of their own – no logical pattern as to how they are flung around in the steam vent. Looks like it’s all down to the L-factor.

@mvnla2 my score isn’t the best but here’s what i did.
High arc to come down in the middle of the two structures, while the fan is blowing to the right..shot lasers at left tower, should completely destroy it in the meantime fan blows Lando straight Up breaking the chains..here’s the luck part..the TNT must fall to the right taking out the tower..Lando should hit that top piggie:) good luck:)

I was in the process of working my way thru all of the Cloud City levels to improve my 3* scores when this came up as the Challenge. My original score, shot on my Android phone, was 75680 & since I’m an admitted ABA (Angry Birds Addict) it seems I’d made a note to myself of the strategy I’d used for when I came back to improve all of my scores.

For this 75680, my verbatim note read: “thru bottom left pig shot up chains cut, TNT fell into steam moved right.” In justpast40 speak, that means I aimed Lando to the closest pig on the bottom left & it must have been thru the wood on top. Continuing to interpret justpast40 speak, I apparently shot the lasers up towards the chain, cutting it while avoiding setting off either TNT. I’m not sure how the left column fell, nor do I know what took out the hanging StormTrooper, but at least 1 TNT fell down & was pushed by the steam taking out the right side. During the Challenge to I’ve tried to replicate this strategy, but I’m not having any luck, however, I have been more focused on progressing thru the level I’d been working on.

Once again, I’m blaming my ABA (Angry Birds Addiction), because even though I had a decent score, I tried to improve during the Challenge. The 1st strategy I read was by @nwreader, which I now see originated with @kathy. After a few dozen tries, I got another “1-birder,” for a nice score 76180. Despite nwreader’s detail, I continue to have trouble with the oh-so-critically-important aiming of Lando, but that’s certainly me & when it “works,” it works & I think there are more points over & above his/her high score of 79200.
