Our strategy for Angry Birds Star Wars Cloud City level 4-2 is to loft Chewie high in the air, so the steam will push him horizontally into the first structure. Sending the next Chewie more horizontally to begin with, the steam will lift him into the remaining ice blocks. Sit back and watch the destruction from there! The score in the video below is 78,330.

For a one Chewie clear, a long arc so that the steam pushes him into the lower left of the first structure ice blocks. He then rolls off to the left, gets caught up in the lower steam and redirected to the left steam, and is thrown to the remaining structures. There may also be some debris from structure one that is sent to help!

Great strat, thanks. On my highest score I actually didn’t have help from Chewie on the second structure, debris only took it down.

By a “long arc” do you mean about a 45o angle, so that Chewie hits the corner of the structure under the 1st tower?

That is how I got my current score – but severe Premature Calculation is preventing me from getting back “above average”, let alone anywhere near the 90,000 top score :(

@cmdrbond That is exactly it, high and far enough over the first steam vent. so that Chewie doesn’t get diverted.
I too am finding the Premature Calculation a bit … annoying …

I found that a slight deviation that makes Chewie hit the horizontal glass bar gives the best results. But this is just a very slight adjustment of your perfect strat

great strat @catsnbirds! Managed to catch this just right and got a 1 Chewie clear :D Been struggling on 78k for a while without trying this.

@CmdrBond this is pretty much how that worked out for me, went around 45º and the level cleared itself of pigs :)

I followed this strategy and got a score of 89,790. However, the level ended before everything was done falling so the score would have been much higher. Very annoying…

Starting point is near the end of the antena. My very first 1B was 78.100 which was lower then my 2B 79.860. 1B was hanging in the circulating air from the entry on this level.

2B is not so easy there. I tryed 1st CH high lob to clear the left part, next flater CH to made the rest.

This is the strategy I used. Either Chewie or an undamaged piece of concrete falling into the right steam vent causes more damage. I found this harder to repeat but it will eventually give a higher score.

I tried as well as I could to do it as instructed, but couldn’t make it work. However, when I misshot, Chewie bounced around three or four times, stirred up a bunch of debris, and next thing I knew, everything toppled down. Final score–87100. Thanks for the advice, but dumb luck scored for me again.

Thank you @catsnbirds. I’ve yet to get Chewie to recycle thru the steam to fly back & take out the right tower, however with this or a similar aim a metal triangle from the 1st structure was pushed down, up & over to the right to take out the right side for a 1-Chewie worth 82660 on Android phone. It’s not a great score, but better than the previous 2-Chewie of 78k.

While I didn’t have Premature Calculation as others report, what I did experience a few shots earlier when the metal triangle had been pushed the same way, was that just as the metal triangle hit the ice blocks on the right, the game suddenly shut down & went back to the Games Tray. Other than the launch, I’d touched nothing on the screen. It was very very odd. When I then restarted the app, the Daily Reward for PU appeared. I wonder if the Daily Reward PU cycle timing coincided with the triangle hitting the ice & closed or crashed the app. Has anyone else playing on an Android phone experienced this?

I was about to reset but I waited it out and after Chewie was passed between the two steam vents 3-4 times he was finally sent far enough to the right to get things done. But wow, you all are right about the early calculation. I deserved at least another 5k for the tower that was still falling when I got a score. Thanks for the strategy!

thank you thank you THANK YOU! been stuck on this level for an hour…found a walkthrough on youtube that showed a different method…but it was, of course, inferior to yours. your walkthroughs are always the best. 80,500 (just so when the leaderboard is up, i know what to enter)

I couldn’t get complete destruction on a 1-birder that way, so for my second shot, I flung Chewie high enough that he wouldn’t be greatly affected by the diagonal steam vent, but low enough to destroy the anti-grav platform on the far right.

This is one of those levels where, when you get what you need, you leave well enough alone! :-)

Man, you really have to wait this one out. It can take a long time to develop. Twice I threw the 2nd Chewie as the far right grouping started to crumble.

Came back to improve my scores a bit and for the life of me I can’t beat my original score of 88490!
All these levels are pretty easy to 3 star, but top score is almost total destruction…
Not sure if that is :-D of :-G

I found it easier to get higher one bird scores by aiming much lower, so that Chewie goes through the upper middle of the vent and gets pushed into the top left metal triangle. Ideally he should crash into the glass below the metal square in the second tower. With luck, that tower will crash to the left knocking over what’s left of the first tower so that most of the left side is cleared. Wait for debris from the first tower to catch a ride on the vent and smack into the hover-tower to clear the level. This strategy still requires the luck of the vent riding debris to clear, but I think higher scores are more likely because not much remains of the left two towers.

I’m back to improve and earn 3K sharp more today (+170#, 88.630). There is a flat line (cloud) about 2 Chewie higher then top of the vent. I try yesterday to improve and catch top of metal triangle at left part tower. Today a went rather around this line but with shorter back ritch of the slingshot. Once I made 88K.

Next I test again @catsnbirds way with also not full power. 83, 85, 86K – good scores. So it’s replayable. For 2B up to 79,5K area.

Argh these levels are ridiculous @Kathy!!! I have tried the alt strats ad nosium, best “result” so far has been catsnbirds strat but the early calculation is a real killer on your final score so beware when you work it KitKat! Very frustrating!!

My advice to any or
One is just keep flinging..check out @yuriyigolkin video on you tube and just keep flinging..it didn’t seem like i would ever get it..it would all fall but only 84k over and over..then bing!! Hit just right and all fall down racking up the points:)

@amslimfordy , @karen68 ,I do not think the score of 93,140 by MarkFaust is achievable w/o powerups. There does not appear to be enough debris remaining after a score like @jonesshaver or @cydog88 to account for the additional points claimed for the high score in DS 4-2.
